Everything about the situation left Hinata feeling uneasy from the start. Not only did she wake up in a foreign room with her beloved necklace stolen and replaced with a fake, but a group of strangers were also here with her. She may have recognized a few, but it didn’t make anything better. In fact, it only raised more questions for the sculptor. How were they gathered here and why?

Hours later a child-like… being(?) made their entrance and the youngest of the group swung his parasol, accidentally breaking it when it hit the side of a bookshelf. He keeled over and the moment he stopped moving at all Hinata started to feel lightheaded. Her instincts told her to run, but her feet remained glued to her spot. Everything that followed afterwards became hazy for Hinata. She knew should’ve listened closely and tuned in to Toka’s words and the other two, but her mind ran all over the place. Auburn eyes flicking back and forth from the corpse to anything else. The only comfort she had was her arms wrapped tightly around herself. Then when others started to leave, Hinata followed suit and retreated to the safety of her room.

Since Aki’s demise, Hinata holed herself away from others, and the rare appearances she did make was to simply make herself food or to jog around. When she arrived to the ballroom, her expression was forlorn. The ‘gift’ Toka ‘blessed’ her with hit a rather sensitive spot. For only a moment, Hinata did consider what they said. In the end, she shook her head and weakly laughed before turning on her heels.

“Only through patience and perseverance can you make a change in your life.”

The announcement of Yukitoshi’s death and seeing yet another peer dead affected Hinata greatly. She may have not known him personally, or at all really, but she still mourned for him. Even promising to pay respects later whenever she gets the chance. Only if the room is completely cleaned off all that blood. So gross.

During the trial the teen stayed rather quiet. Opting to step back and listen to the ones who investigated and had ideas. Unlike her and how she immediately left the ballroom to calm herself down. It’s not something she is proud of, but she’ll aim to be better! Definitely!

Hinata straighten up at the mention of introductions. Now would be the best time to say it. So as one hand tucked some hair away, the other waved and Hinata gave everyone a warm smile.

“Hello, hello everyone. My name is Hinata Fukumoto. I’m a clay sculptor.”

After that, she supposed she didn’t have to say anything else considering the suspect is pretty much caught. (Or at least, she thinks so) As Kami tried to defend herself and unraveled, Hinata couldn’t help feeling a bit bad for her. Not entirely since she may have killed, but what she suggested… was something. Part of her wanted to say something to comfort her, but just what? Comforting was never her best forte. So she stayed silent, biting her lip to keep herself from slipping up.

Her silence didn’t last for long after Haruaki’s odd speech. At first she simply stared at him with wide eyes and jaw dropped. She looked back at Kami, Haruaki again, Toka, and then casted her eyes downward. She had to take a moment to think over what was just said.

“My goodness that sure is… interesting, but also pretty inappropriate.”

Hinata nervously laughed and shuffled around. Boy oh gee was this a something.

hiya!! i’m halo and i use they/it/she pronouns! my timezone is CST and i’m 17! i’m not much of a talker in group chats because i’m a weenie but i’m totally down to chitchat anytime!! just hit me up my pms are always open and i’m ready to meme 9‘v’)9 !!

i’ve been in a bunch of groups, too many to name, but a few of them are Astral (blue & pearl as Shinobu and Rupert respectively) and Lunatic Lunado (1 & + as Katrine and Sachihiro respectively)! i like having fun and this time i’ll be playing Hinata Fukumoto, SHSL Clay Sculptor! she’s pretty stressed and tired but she has a big dream she’s working hard for!!

here is what Hinata looks like [X] with minor additions such as a mole underneath her left eye and an orange ribbon tied on her left wrist! the ribbon is used as a simple accessory that can be a bracelet, a choker or to tie her hair up.

maybe? maybe not? Hinata’s presence is entirely based on the internet and word of mouth. she was “discovered” by a popular vlogger called Yuki who made an entire post about her sculptures that she “gave” her and praised her. then later started featuring more of her works weekly to setting up Hinata’s little online shop and linking it from her blog! her sculptures are mostly made in a sanrio like style with occasional detailed sculptures. those are always just animals and flowers, but with a storybook/fantasy twist to them! think of like a deer whose antlers has leaves and little fairy houses hanging off them.

there’s only one time that Hinata has appeared publicly and that’s in a newspaper within the Chiba prefecture! a small article about a young artist making busts of each member of a high class family.
