DIY: Origami Shuriken / ENGLISH

To make your shuriken, you will need a white or colored A4 sheet and scissors. So let’s get started!

1 — On a rectangular sheet, bring the right tip from top to bottom end, getting a triangle.

1.1 — What is left of the sheet should be trimmed. After cutting, unfold the sheet and you will have obtained a square.

2 — You should fold the square in half, joining the top tips and the bottom tips. When you open it, you should cut the square in half.

2.1 and 2.2 — Take one of the halves of the square: you should fold first horizontally and then vertical. You must undo the vertical fold as it is only for marking.

3 — Now, with the paper lying horizontally,by the right top edge, you should bring the right half until the marking line.

3.1 — With the left end down should bring the left half to the mark line.

4 — Now turn the sheet — we will use the 'back' side. You should note that we have two squares and one parallelogram. You must bring the right tip to the top square to the left top tip of the parallelogram, then bring the left tip of the bottom square to the right bottom point of the parallelogram.

4.1 — Now we have two triangles, you should fold them towards the parallelogram to make marking.

5 — You should repeat the steps with the other half of the square that we cut out in step 2.

6 — Now, with the two half of the square, you should position them in a '+' format or vane, one side on top of the other, with the triangles open.

6.1 — Fold the triangles clockwise from left to right. When it is time to fold the last triangle, you should go over the tip of the previously folded triangle(3°) and end up fitting underneath the first fold.

Para fazer a sua shuriken, você só precisará de uma folha A4 branca ou colorida e uma tesoura. Então, vamos iniciar!

1 — Em uma folha retangular, traga a ponta direita de cima até a extremidade de baixo, obtendo um triângulo.

1.1 — O que sobra da folha deve ser recortado. Após recortar, desdobre a folha e terá obtido um quadrado.

2 — Você deverá dobrar o quadrado ao meio, juntando as pontas de cima e as pontas de baixo. Ao abri-lo, você deve recortar o quadrado ao meio.

2.1 e 2.2 — Pegue uma das metades do quadrado: você deverá dobrar primeiro na horizontal e depois na vertical. Deve desfazer a dobra vertical, pois serve apenas para marcação.

3 — Agora, com o papel deitado na horizontal, pela ponta direita de cima deve trazer a metade direita até a linha de marcação.

3.1 — Com a ponta esquerda de baixo deverá levar a metade esquerda até a linha de marcação.

4 — Agora deverá virar a folha — usaremos o ‘lado de trás’. Deve observar que temos dois quadrados e um paralelogramo. Você deve então trazer a ponta direita ao quadrado de cima até a ponta esquerda de cima do paralelogramo, depois levará a ponta esquerda do quadrado de baixo até a ponta direita de baixo do paralelogramo. 

4.1 — Agora temos dois triângulos, deverá dobrá-los em direção ao paralelogramo para fazer marcação.

5 — Deverá repetir os passos com a outra metade do quadrado que recortamos no passo 2.

6 — Agora, com as duas metade do quadrado, você deverá posicioná-las em formato de ‘+’ ou cata-vento, um lado em cima do outro, com os triângulos abertos. 

6.1 — Dobre os triângulos em sentido horário, da esquerda para a direita. Quando chegar a hora de dobrar o último triângulo, você deve passar por cima da ponta do triângulo dobrado anteriormente(3°) e finalizar encaixando de baixo da primeira dobra.

Por fim, essa deve ser a aparência da sua shuriken finalizada!
