Darcy stumbled into her room, full of the giggly juice, and looked through her phone, randomly choosing Colton. As the phone rang, she giggled, making funny noises. His sleepy voice answered on the other end.

"Colton! Colton how are you?" She giggled, saving him no time to answer. "Hey! Can I ask you something? Why don't cats fly? Oh, oh! And why does Christmas only come once a year?" She thought she heard him snore and began to whine. "Coltonnnnnn don't fall asleepppppp I want you to talk to me! You're supposed to be my frienddddd." She flicked through the television channels. "Ooh! Spongebob is on! I used to watch Spongebob a long time ago. With my dad. Have you met him? I think you'd like him. You're very much alike, you know. Only my dad's not gay. That would be a problem. But he likes Broadway and cartoons and he likes me. Do you like me? Colton I'm sleepy sing me a song. Please?" The other line was quiet, but a soft mumbling could be heard, and Darcy leaned back against her pillows, falling asleep almost instantly.

Colton something something, who cares what his name is he's an awesome person. I'm hoping we're going to be good friends, 'cause who wouldn't want to be friends with someone who loves Broadway musicals just as much as Dad loves them? He's hella cool. Hopefully I can take him to Broadway soon, mom still gets those cool discounted tickets whenever we're in New York. I think he'd like that. And then I'd make him take Noah so Dad doesn't get all overprotective and dumb like he does whenever I go out with a guy. I mean I love Dad but damn he needs to chill. Anyway, Colton = cool. Plus he likes Frozen.

Darcy was in the kitchen, making cupcakes for someone or another's birthday or something like that. It didn't matter, she just liked making the cupcakes. Mostly because it gave her an opportunity to eat the batter. She also found it highly entertaining, though. She had just finished icing the remaining few cupcakes when she heard the scamper of feet. Biting her lip, she listened, carrying the plate to the large table that had been set up. Three steps... two steps... She'd almost made it when someone crashed into her, sending the cupcakes flying. "Aw, fuck," she swore, quietly, looking up to a sheepish Colton offering a hand to help her up. "You're damn lucky we're friends, you know." A devious smile was suddenly plastered on her face and she took one of the few remaining whole cupcakes and shoved it in his face, giggling.
