So I’ve been going over in my head how to make this post or if I even should, but I feel like I owe an explanation to the few cool people on here that I’ve met, and I also want to burn bridges with the assholes who have unfortunately been the majority of my encounters on this platform. Buckle in; this is a long one. I used this blog for two main reasons: to make people laugh and build connections and community with other queer people. But ever since October 7th, I’ve realized most of you are massive hypocrites and horrible people. You claim that your reason for acting like Nazis is because you’re against genocide, and then you call for genocide against Jews and Israelis or for actions that will obviously lead to that (like the destruction of Israel). Even though I’m actively trying to avoid antisemitism, I still see it almost every day. I’ve seen people supporting the rape and murder of Jews, call for our death more times than I can count, spread Nazi-era hate and stereotypes, and I’ve been personally targeted for speaking out against this. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I’ve realized that not only do I not want to build a community with most of you, but that I’d rather be completely on my own than have anything to do with you. And the more of you I encounter, the more being on my own actually sounds like a huge relief. I hope someday you have to pay for what you’ve done. I hope it destroys your life. I don’t have any mercy or empathy left for you. You don’t deserve it. These last couple of years have fundamentally changed who I am, and I’ve decided to work on building my own independence and focus on working on my health, as it’s been getting worse. I’ve sworn off this blog before but came back because I wanted to go back to the time when I believed that there were more decent people in the world and I could make people laugh and build connections. I know better now. If I can find a way or a platform that allows me to effectively censor antisemitism and antisemites, then maybe I’ll make a new blog or account and post the link here, but I tried creating a Jews and allies-only blog before, and antisemites still infiltrated it and have inserted themselves into just about every Jewish space to harass us, so that seems unlikely at this time. I truly appreciate the few people who stood by me; I hope you know who you are. But I’ve hit a breaking point, and my goal is not to come back to this blog. To the rest of you, I want you to know that your actions are unforgivable, and I hope you never know peace. You don’t deserve peace after destroying it for so many Jews.

The older generation's fixation on forcing you to have kids is something they absolutely refuse to unlearn. About ten, fifteen years ago I wrote a story about a guy living in a Capitalist dystopia. His walls, furniture, and tableware are all covered in smart displays. Basically animated wallpaper. It's sold as being able to turn your room or objects into anything - A nice forest view, outer space, a fantasy realm... but the companies that run this stuff keep sneaking ads in.

It gets so bad he's always being woken up by adverts that offer insomnia cures and better bedding that play when he tries to sleep.

So he buys the ad-free tier, and it's great... for a few months. And then he starts getting adverts from 'premium partners'. So he goes up a level... and the same thing happens.

So he jailbreaks his wallpaper and sends all the ad servers to 0.0.0.0 and voila... he can sleep.

Until this SWAT team blows his door off and drag him off to jail. The Ad companies are suing him for loss of revenue for the products he' notionally have bought if he'd watched their adverts, based on some weird 'The average consumer buys X products with an average value of Y' calculation.

The judge is like 'well I dun wanna annoy the sponsors' so he RICO's this guy's house and possessions and sends him to jail.

... which is a nice relaxed non-volent offender jail for the corporately disenfranchised. But because these people have no money... there's no ads and now he's happy because the only place he's free... is in prison.

Which at the time was a bit much and now it's like: Called it.

Elon's suing companies for not advertising because he's losing revenue. He's also cranking the price of Ad Free Twitter. Disney and Amazon play adverts on their paid service when services used to be free because of the adverts... and now you have to pay to watch the adverts or go up a couple of tiers.

And google's going around freaking out about ad-blockers.
