However, when he was abandoned to his fate, the boys and girls of the community could not help but get excited at the sight of that perfect body in black leather clothing. So it was that every night a beautiful young man would furtively bring food to the hero and tell him the secret that he was preparing his escape. However, as the days went by, the resistance of the beautiful hero was fading. Finally, one night when the Mennonites let their guard down, the beautiful young man was able to free Batman by taking him to his barn. There the boy fed, cleaned and healed the hero, keeping him hidden from the Inquisition. There he held him while the town searched for the fugitive. The following night, when everything calmed down, they would manage to escape together from that environment of madness and recalcitrant repression. The bat man learned that in the most adverse context he can find the noblest souls and above all, love.
