im starting to understand just how fucking awful pepper spray is. i was just working with two little baby skunks whod been violently orphaned and then deliberately sprayed with pepper spray, and even after two days AND multiple baths, just being near them today was still enough to burn my throat so badly i genuinely couldnt breathe until i was able to step back and away from them. i cant even begin to imagine how these poor little babies must feel. theyre small enough to fit inside of a goddamn teacup. what the fuck made someone think pepper spray was at all necessary
