I keep remembering a run of Hamlet I saw a few years ago, where the Ghost was costumed in full plate armour which was very noisy, and instead of muffling it, they had him crash across the stage, stomping so the whole set rattled, and he said all of his lines in a bellow, like he was furious with Hamlet.

And the thing that made it absolutely terrifying was that Hamlet was the only one who reacted. He was cowering, and covering his ears with both hands, and yelling to be heard over the noise.

And no one else seemed to know why he was doing that. The other actors didn't even raise their voices.

That's scary, something so loud and painful, and REAL, and the people around you don't even notice it, and think that you're the crazy one.

Okay so. I have a *very* silly headcanon and that is Kaito and Rio being friends. Both kinda had a lack of a normal teen-hood for various reasons so to me they experience it together and fill in the gaps the other missed.

For example Rio was absolutely on Tumblr during Superwholock (I can't explain this one just go with it) and got Kaito to binge doctor who with her. Meanwhile, Kaito probably has a secret ffn or Wattpad account and he and Rio laugh at his old shitty fanfiction and his bookmarks. They would take a shot (of like. Apple cider vinegar or smth) whenever the word "orbs" came up.

Rio also was high-key aware that what Kaito was describing as "gender envy" towards Quinton and Mizael was actually Massive Crushes on them. And he still thought he was straight. She and Shark made bets on when Kaito would realize he Was Not Straight.

Another Rio friendship I like is Rio and Astral, I've had this fanfic idea floating in my head for a few months now that I probably won't write for a while where Rio has a crush on Kotori and Astral on Yuma. But the Comphet hits so Kotori and Yuma become A Thing. And it's Rio and Astral bonding over it. Idk if I'll give it a happy ending but it's very based on Good Luck Babe so uh. Maybe, maybe not.

I'm feeling sad about things so I'm going to attempt to do a charity art auction!

I know I did one of these way back in ancient times but I can't remember how I did it. If anyone can suggest a less silly way to go about this please let me know.

I'll keep bidding open for a week. Please bid in $US to keep things uniform. Please INBOX me to bid. Please don't be on anon, so I can reply. Please don't use the tumblr messenger, it doesn't always work for me.

After the auction is over, if you're the winning bidder you can donate the amount of your bid to one of the campaigns cleared by GazaVetters. Once you've shown me your receipt we can arrange shipping.

Things to know:

I will need you to pay for shipping. I'm in Australia and from what I can see it may be around $15 - $30 USD. Once I've shipped the artwork I'll send you the receipt with the precise amount.

If the artwork is damaged or lost in transit I can refund you the shipping costs but obviously not the donation.

Drawings A1 - A6 are about 14.5 x 21cm ink, watercolor and gouache on 300 GSM paper

Drawings B1 - B3 are ink on 21 x 29.7cm lightweight non-archival copy paper

Drawings C1 - C14 are also ink on 21 x 29.7cm lightweight paper, slightly better quality than copy paper but still probably non-archival because I live for the now

None of these are ever going to appreciate in value even a little bit

I'll post a couple of updates throughout the week if I get some bids. Hopefully I don't make a complete tits-up of this ahaha wish me luck
