A rare old lithograph by Emily Eden dating from the mid 19th century. Depicting Sikh Akali Nihang warriors wearing an assortment of weapons and dressed in traditional clothes. Notoriously during times of war the 'Akalees' always spear headed the attack against the enemy, sometimes with little or no consideration for there own lives.

A old photograph dating from the early 1900s of the holiest Sikh Shrine the Golden temple surrounded by the ‘pool of Immortality’. On the right of the image you can see the old British clock tower built in gothic style in the mid 1800s.
