I have been absolutely blown away by all the love and inquiries from my last post of this succulent and prehnite necklace - thank you everyone!! . It quickly found a new home and I am now actively sourcing similar domed stones to make more necklaces with. As you can see, the prehnite in this one had the coolest needle-like inclusions that almost looked like roots from the succulent at certain angles. 😍 . The stormy weather is upon me now and I'm hunkering down at the bench in my free moments to attempt to complete my Halstead Design Challenge piece by Friday (it's going to be a close call either way... eek! 😬🤞). Happy Monday! This long, kinetic, OOAK statement necklace is now available in my Etsy shop along with the 8 charm necklaces in my last post! There's a direct link in my profile for easy access. . This particular necklace has been stuck at about 90% finished for ages. While reorganizing my bench recently, I decided it was about time to get her to 100%. She features a very cool, kinetic bail that was inspired by antique industrial equipment along with a solid silver succulent sitting atop a beautiful dome of prehnite. Lately, the weather has been less than cooperative and photographs of these little momento necklaces haven't happened as I'd hoped. This morning is getting drearier by the minute so we'll see how long my window light holds out.🤞 These little charms are all strung on 18" sterling chains and feature rustic texture and patterns with words on reclaimed silver and a splash of color in coral and turquoise. When I was little I'd often receive those fun, crafty kits for various things like basket weaving, paper making, or beading as gifts, remember those? My mom and I were very into loom beading for quite some time and a few months ago I happened across some of our old seed bead collection and got the urge to get back into it in some way. . I ended up combining some fun colors with other stone, bone, shell, and vintage focal/accent beads to create a batch of long, over-the-head necklaces. There are 8 of these strings of color currently in my Etsy shop, all different, all in the 30-40" range and great for layering.
