Did college in Data Security. 100%, open source is the best for data privacy. That’s why the smart people use linux and swear by it so much.
before it gets bad I'm just gonna tell y'all certain rich people have literally only recently noticed Open Source software availability compromises the bottom line of their proprietary investments so if you see little chickadees on this website talking about the dangers of Open Source software all of a sudden it's cuz they accidentally sipped some koolaid mixed up by the far right yacht people to fuck with peoples software sovereignty and right to repair, modify, and redistribute robust codebases that become a problem when 30% of your portfolio is in, oh, say, adobe or openai.
This is your unfriendly neighborhood computer fucker telling you not to fall for it and to demand your right to digital sovereignty rather than trusting companies to make correct choices about what to do with the parts of your life they would very much like to have in the cloud to continue improving their products.

Small storytime: I’ve been struggling with seizures since I was seven or eight. They aren’t epileptic- at least not triggered by light. It wasn’t until this year that I found out that several years after you get the measles, its long term infection can cause everything from encephalitis to brain damage to seizures, and even a possible degenerative disorder that will eventually kill you. If’s very likely these seizures were caused by my measles infection.
My parents were anti-vaxxers until I got the measles and the hospital educated them well enough to get me and my siblings vaxxed. Before then, they would introduce me to viruses purposely to ā€œboost my immune systemā€.
What they didn’t know at the time was that viruses are little RNA hijackers. Their genetic code lingers in our cells for a lifetime after infection, and when your immune system is compromised for any reason- you get the common cold, things are stressful, you aren’t sleeping well, you just had a major or minor surgery, or you’re getting older- that viral infection you had thirty years ago will rear its ugly head. Chicken Pox becomes Shingles and attacks your nerves. Measles attacks your brain.
And these secondary attacks are just as, if not more, deadly than the initial infection these days.
That’s why everyone is so scared of long Covid. It seems to be cardiovascular in some way, causing clots and other weaknesses that may end up killing a LOT of people before we realize it was Covid all along.
Get. Vaccinated.
Vaccines do NOT have the RNA (half of a DNA strand) of a virus. It is a roughly similar protein ā€˜shell’ that mimics the virus. You will get flu-like symptoms from vaccines because that is your immune response, not the virus. Your immune system, in order to kill off a threat, will raise your body temp- fever- try to isolate the threat- swelling/aching- flush it out- coughing/runny nose/diarrhea- and so much more. Some people even have slight allergic reactions bc allergies are also the immune system, which means you may even get rashes and hives. These are immune responses, not the disease. You do not have the RNA that is going to hijack your cells, you’re just teaching your body which of their immune responses- or combo of immune responses- will kill the virus before it gets the chance to establish itself, or so it can kill off the virus before it has the chance to hijack your cells. FFS.

1. Blue Lips - Regina Spektor
2. 8 Legged Dreams - Unlike Pluto
3. Heat Waves - Glass Animals
4. Literally anything from Twenty One Pilots (nothing will ever shake the trauma of finding a violent šŸ‡ fic of you and several drawings of your forced šŸ«„on your stalker’s page, them constantly sending you Twenty One Pilot Songs, and then- years later- an old friend that had gone through similar with that stalker reaches out only to tell you that stalker accused you of being the one to do all of that to them instead of the other way around. 🫠 It was actually quite the coincidence because I had a nightmare about that stalker coming back literally the day before the mutual showed back up. Still no contact with that old stalker, but the mutual and I still do art collabs from time to time)
5. Heart of Darkness - Grim Salvo
6. Transcendental Cha Cha Cha - Tom Cardy
7. P much anything from Witchz tbh.
8. DATURA [paroxysm] - Crywolf (If I’m having an overstimulation ā€œmeltdownā€, or I’m on the edge of autistic burnout, this song is like a neurological reset button)
9. Hard Drive - Griffinilla (I have three happy songs on my playlist and they are this, Transcendental Cha Cha Cha, and There’s a Million Gruesome Ways to Die. When I’m unserious, I want to be VERY unserious.)
10. Legit just pick one from my playlist and play… but we’ll do Put Me Under - grandson
11. Sick of the Silence - Mother Mother
12. Oh… Gods, I dunno. The Headless Waltz - Voltaire. Classic and classy.
13. Don’t Fear the Reaper- Blue Oyster Cült… or just about anything from Pink Floyd or Def Leppard.
14. Our wedding was kind of a crapshow bc it was hastily thrown together during the pandemic, so I don’t remember what our song was- but if I could choose now, Hearts on Fire - SFINX & Jetason
15. Chase Holfelder’s version of Animal - Maroon 5.
16. Solitary Confinement - some dude on YT that goes by MML’s Commentaries.
17. I once duetted Just Give Me a Reason - P!nk with a dude I hardly knew on the bus and we became friends after that (no I did not marry him). I did take vocal lessons and choir for 10 yrs, though, so whenever there’s a good song for people to sing together, I will get everyone involved. It’s inevitable. Last week at my new job, my partner for the day started singing a tenor part of Hoist the Colors and he was very shocked that my pre-T, femme presenting self with a tiny, melodic voice was able to switch it up and duet the bass part with him (I actually hate singing soprano. Preferred alto in school, but my secret love was finding ways to deepen my voice, so now I have an insane range from soprano to bass.)
18. Cruel Summer - Ace of Base (No idea this came out the year of my birth. Huh-)
19. Wake Me When It’s Over - Vorsa
20. Paint my Life - Witchz
21. tbh I don’t really listen to songs with names in the titles. That may be a my bad.
22. Not sure wtf this means, but it’s probably Transcendental Cha Cha Cha again… but I’m going to say Ready to Die - Andrew W.K. Kind of an inside joke with my husband, though.
23. I mean… there’s a lot. Punk music has always had a lot of good messages. Always recommend some Green Day, at least. If I think you can handle it, a lot of ODDKO’s music is pretty good (Censorship, and Disobey especially). Maybe Brave New World - Kalandra. For something more modern social media attention span and branding centered, The Fine Print - The Stupendium, or Suit and Tie (Sixteen Tons) -Cooper Alan is pretty good too. The entire The Wall album from Pink Floyd if you want something more classic rock. Blue Lips (from answer 1) is something I def wish people understood implicitly, though.
24. Fffff… bro I don’t keep up with bands. I dunno who is or isn’t together and I don’t wanna know. Same with actors. I’m here for the music, not celebrity drama- especially bc 95% of celebrities are literal human garbage and I’ve just accepted that, unless it’s an indie artist- chances are I’ll hate them lrl. Or will just not have a drink anywhere near them.
25. Uhhhhhh… The Requiem in D Minor (La Lacrimosa) - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Take a pick from any of the celebrity ODs for the past 20 years?
26. I could go with Let’s Fall In Love - Mother Mother, but that’s kind of just on the nose and doesn’t even inspire that. So I’ll go with Runaway - AURORA. My husband is my home, and whenever I sing that song I just want to hold his hand and sit on the porch as an old man, finally finding peace and stability with him.
27. when the party’s over - Billie Eilish. Growing up in a home where I was only ever considered if I was serving in some way (making food, feeding egos, etc.), this song makes me cry a lot.
28. Confession time… I am a vocalist snob. I dgaf what beat, bass drop, synth, etc you have on there unless you have a lead guitarist actually fckn shredding out a solo riff, or a drummer who makes pounding a drum look like drinking a glass of water. You need a good vocalist. You need someone who won’t just spit out the same three bars over and over again in some deadpan voice. I want emotion. I want passion. I want rough voice cracks, hissing, whispering, growling, guttural hate. I want to hear you fight the natural, waving vibrato to hold a consistent note. I want pitch changes, dynamic shifts, diaphragm engagement, staggered breaths, and other technical acrobatics. For that reason, I nominate Unlike Pluto- Armond Arabshahi- to be one of the best pop music artists. Every song is different, and from a technical standpoint he just shows off in every song.Absolutely adore him.
29. Last Dance with Mary Jane- Tom Petty… Look, my dad had a fck’d sense of humor and between the Evanescence, Metallica, and so on, if he hadn’t been a Christian extremist, he would have been goth af. He’s the reason why all of my songs are sad and a little gay to this day, ngl.
30. Broken Crown - Mumford and Sons. Yeah, longest story shortest… religious trauma, being part of a couple of ā€œpropheciesā€, exorcism being one of my youngest memories. Though on this same vein, try The In Between - In This Moment and it’s another way to look at the constant upset these ā€œpropheciesā€ and the constant flux between ā€˜you’re akin to a piece of god himself’ and ā€˜actually you’re a demon who’s replaced my daughter’ did to my childhood. lol
MUSIC ASKS these are actually pretty fucking hard but why not.
1:A song you like with a color in the title
2:A song you like with a number in the title
3:A song that reminds you of summertime
4:A song that reminds you of someone you would rather forget about
5:A song that needs to be played LOUD
6:A song that makes you want to dance
7:A song to drive to
8:A song about drugs or alcohol
9:A song that makes you happy
10:A song that makes you sad
11:A song that you never get tired of
12:A song from your preteen years
13:One of your favorite 80’s songs
14:A song that you would love played at your wedding
15:A song that is a cover by another artist

22:A song that moves you forward
23:A song that you think everybody should listen to
24:A song by a band you wish were still together

This was kind of difficult bc I did this on a thin, yellow, lined piece of scrap paper and, bc of that, had to wait until the sun went down to take a picture with the accurate colors otherwise it just looked orange-yellow and washed out. 🫠 Anyway, this is an OC of mine- a dragon and sea titan whose songs call in rain and floods.
In her full titan form, she is able to make her flesh and scales go completely invisible in water, leaving only her bioluminescent bones, fins, markings, etc. visible.
This is not her final design and there may be changes to the positioning of the invisible portions and the color scheme, but other than that, I’m happy with just having finished the doodle.

I forgot for a second that this is a text based social media and not a picture or video reliant one.
So hey, I’m just going to say this:
Housing assistance in Utah has a several year waiting list. How do I know this? When I was homeless and living out of our car last year, that’s what we found out trying to get help. We’ve subsisted from multiple people’s charity and aid, mostly mine and my husband’s parents with our client donating some frozen meat to us last year. I lost my job last month right before Christmas because my supervisor didn’t like that I was trans and getting a hold of a lawyer that has free consultations and works pro-bono is difficult and has taken me weeks just to get calls and texts returned. I’m still calling social aid in our area trying to get help but the economy here is so dire that their waitlists are months to years out.
I have had -$17 in my bank all month and have been rationing food insomuch that my POTS and chronically low blood sugar has been causing me a lot of issues with seizures and passing out for long periods of time because I’m not getting full meals most days.
Tomorrow is the last day we have to pay up the rest of rent, otherwise we get evicted by the end of the month.
I’m tired of asking for handouts, especially knowing 97% of the country right now is in pretty much the same boat as me, but I can do something else.
I can and always have been able to do art, sculpture, and otherwise.

let's recap what we've learned about the United States in the last few days.
things that are terrorism:
allegedly shooting a healthcare CEO whose company generated more pure profit (not revenue, profit) in a year than the GDP of 94 countries, exclusively by denying coverage to people who pay for it
a 42-year-old mother of 2 using the wrong combination of 7 words during a heated conversation with a call center employee at a health insurance company who was in the process of denying her health coverage.
things that are not terrorism:
mass shooting in a Black church to incite a race war
going to a BLM protest specifically to kill protestors
a neo-nazi running over a crowd of people, killing a woman
targeting and killing 23 latinos in an el paso, texas walmart
killing 12 people in a theatre, shooting 58 others, rigging your apartment with explosives
a QAnon groyper killing 7 and shooting ~50 at a 4th of July parade
killing 3 people and shooting several others at a Planned Parenthood in defense of the unborn
stalking someone relentlessly and then killing them and their child despite months of the victim making police reports
any one of the 1,200 murders committed by US police yearly, the vast majority being minorities
tightening your border while ~100 immigrants (including children) drown every year in the Rio Grande
United Healthcare killing an unnknowable number of elderly people by using faulty AI to deny medically necessary coverage
Aetna killing a woman by refusing to cover her cancer care
Blue Cross killing a 6-year-old by denying her appendicitis surgery
Cigna killing a 17-year-old child by denying her liver transplant
the pharmaceutical industry killing half a million people with opioids in the name of producing revenues in 2023 that rivaled the GDPs of countries like Spain, Mexico, and Australia.
the United States killing 45,000 people a year because they can't access health coverage
make sure you keep this guide handy the next time you find yourself interacting with your insurance company or any other millionaire, billionaire, or an individual who is part of a protected class such as a CEO or president of a corporation.

Some Mouthwashing fanart of Anya.
I kind of messed up doing the blood splatter, tried to fix it, and just made it worse, but I’m still very proud of it.

I will always remember the conversation I had with a ā€œgood Christianā€ coworker where I was talking about how peace almost never works with oppressors, because peace often justifies and enables abuses of power and prioritizes compromise over resolution. Talked about how, even with Gandhi, it wasn’t until he was imprisoned and everyone else turned to protest and riots for his release that change finally happened and he was released before he could starve and become a martyr. Riots saved his life and brought change, but we focus on Gandhi’s peace rather than the fact that his radical peace almost created a martyrdom- and that’s what the authorities were REALLY scared of. (And yes, I know Gandhi is problematic in his own ways, but in our society he’s always put up as a hero because keeping the peace no matter what we’re put through is our status quo).
I also pointed out that Jesus overturned tables and whipped people for monetizing spirituality, but no one wants to talk about Jesus being very socio-anarchist instead of a capitalist fascist.
This coworker argued the entire time that peace was always the answer and I wouldn’t understand as a non-Christian… and then stopped mid-sentence near the end and proceeded to cuss at and threaten the life of a motorcyclist that passed by our post bc he hated motorcyclists and thought they all deserved to die because ā€œtheyā€ threatened truck drivers’ jobs.
And that really drives home what this argument is really about for some people. It really is about keeping the peace and preserving the status quo at the expense of those of us most vulnerable. They don’t seem to realize their peace takes human sacrifice, and they aren’t sacrificing to a god for a good harvest- they’re sacrificing these people to Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos for a Tesla Cyber Truck and some scalped item to get here the day after you order it.
You want to talk to me about not understanding peace as a non-Christian? Honey, I grew up in Mormonism- the king cult of preserving the status quo. And I LEFT. There’s a good reason I know what peace and love really means because leaving really tested it.

So I made mockups of some ā€œpoliticalā€ stickers. Lots of things I want to change about them to improve readability and such, but one day I’ll get to make them real lol. I’ll be putting zines with information around the meaning and context of each one and the histories surrounding them as well.
Tumblr media
But yeah. I make political art from time to time. This one is called ā€œPromotional Deathā€ and is about the reality of death behind every ad, the consumerism behind media, the exploitation of humans, and the entrapment behind it all.

More parts of my stickynote challenge project where I was using mini stickynotes (literally the size of the first digit of my thumb), highlighters, mechanical pencil with RBG primary color pencil inserts, and later a few colored/metallic sharpies to learn to work with color, value, and speeding up my process.

Some parts of my thumbnail sticky note challenge. I used to have a hard time working with color and speeding up my process, so I got those mini sticky notes and challenged myself to finish four (one in each of the colors pink, blue, yellow, and orange) every night. Started out with office supplies only: a pen, highlighters, and a mechanical pencil with primary RBG inserts colored pencil inserts. For someone working with highlighters on sticky notes, I think I did well.
Only thing I really hate is how yellow/blonde Eve turned out. 🫠 I had a metallic bronze sharpie but it def didn’t photograph that way. I was devastated.

Commissions for traditional art are open. Here is some pricing, but I’m open to negotiation. Just lost my job when my supervisor lied about my attendance after sharing memes of hunting trans individuals to my coworkers. Still trying to get in touch with a lawyer, but in the meantime bills still need to be paid or I’ll be homeless and S.O.L.
Don’t feel like doing fullbodies or references traditionally, but if you really want one, lmk and I’ll get out my digital art tablet and make one for you one way or another.
I can do:
Dragons, dinosaurs, furries, anthros, humans/humanoids, insects, eldritch monsters, pokemon, fandoms, and more, Chances are, if it lives, I can probs draw it. NSFW, gore, body horror, etc. are also okay.
