this is very very random but I was rewatching stranger things and I noticed this detail that made me suddenly realize how much time has passed since i had first watched this show. In season 1 Nancy is quizzing Steve about their quiz topic questions about organic chemistry or something like that and when I first saw that scene I didn't get what they were talking about obviously because at that time our school hadn't taught us of that yet. so I didnt pay attention at all. Then after all these years I'm watching that scene again, but this time I actually know what they are talking about. Because I've studied those topics in my school too, I have reached the grade THEYRE in in that scene. and it just...like suddenly struck me that time really had passed, I've GROWN UP. Like I am literally the age nancy is in season 1, theyre all the same age as me. i am at the same age as my favorite characters. and this thought just blew my mind for a second. yeah.

you really can reach a point with transgender enlightenment wherein you can attribute any bodily feature silhouette and detail to any gender regardless of typical cisgender aesthetic connotations. anything can be a man's body if the person in it is a man. anything can be a woman's body if the person in it is a woman. anything can be a genderless body if the person in it is genderless. and so on. the only thing that matters is the personhood within and whether you are willing to look and know and see it. open your eyes. keep trying until you no longer flinch or turn away in shame or anger or confusion.

What if Solitaire never happened and it was just a dissociative hallucination Tori was having due to a severe depressive episode? That would explain why literally no other character seems to ever mention it and why Tori isn't sure if Michael is real or not. It would also explain why the school wasn't taking it more seriously as some of the pranks were really domestic terrorism that should've been dealt with, and it would explain why her friends were like, really concerned about her behaviour.
