i reread my starker penpals the other day since its that time of year. probably one of my absolute favorites which is weird because it’s totally only rated pg

so i got this idea in september and it took me forever to even start writing it and i hate myself bc it’s not even done :( i didn’t have time to finish the whole thing by today (xmas), so it will be two parts now. part two will be out by next week!! (also i didn’t actually proofread this because i am a lazy woman so yeah pls lmk if you spot a really bad mistake)

i’m honestly so proud of this! it’s literally all fluff with some angsty parts

Peter’s foot taps and taps, impatient as ever. All he wants to do is go home and log on his computer. The boy has three more classes for the day and every minute feels like an hour. He stares at the clock, but that only makes time seem to go by slower. He’s considering skipping, but he knows Aunt May will murder him, so he waits.

As soon as the boy steps into his small apartment, he rushes to his bedroom and turns on his computer, groaning loudly when the old machine lags and flickers a bit before opening to the login screen. This is the only way the boy could have a computer; he dug through the trash for it and rebuilt it. He couldn’t afford one any other way. He and his aunt barely make enough to pay their rent. 

After he logs on, Peter quickly clicks the Explorer icon and types in the url of the website he’s been using every day for three months. The minute he’s logged in, he gets a notification.

sometimes i get scared to really write but then i remember this account and how i gained 1500 followers over the course of a year or so BECAUSE of my writing and it makes me so happy!! i haven't forgotten about any of you i just am not very into the mcu much anymore. everything changed in 2020 but i still love and cherish all of the wonderful things that came from this incredible fandom and account. love to you all!! idk when i'll be back on, maybe i'll stick around to lurk, maybe i'll come back in a few months, who knows.
