hi guys breaking your regularly scheduled program to bring you: ellis marshall. my dead rails oc :3

with an appearance from saywer!! his "companion" who is my buddy @tw1nkee28's silly!!

(fun little tidbits under the cut)

Ellis grew up on the poorer side of society. His parents passed when he was young, leaving him to fend for himself as he lived off the good will of strangers. When he was thirteen, he was taken in by a group of ranch hands where he would also be employed.

The escaped together, but by the time news of a cure came out, Ellis was the only one who could go. He set off to steal a train to get the cure in Mexico, though he knew he would be the only one of them to receive it.

hi guys phillipadam + rosemary themed graves headcanons in no particular order :3

1.) graves and retirement adam's retirement, while a little sudden, wasn't all that much of a surprise. he had always been a family man- always wanted that kind of life- so while the adjustment was a little difficult at first, adam eventually settled just fine. graves, on the other hand, handles his retirement a little differently. it's harder for him to get used to because this kind of lifestyle had been one he carried with him for so long. being the ceo of a whole pmc, having the ambitions he did, his life was extremely chaotic for the longest time and his work required basically all of his attention. he never thought he'd get to retire, hell, he doesn't even like the idea of it because he hates doing nothing... but with that in mind, here he is now, with his husband and their daughter... and for the first time in a while, graves has never enjoyed doing "nothing" more. now that he has things to focus on other than work, the idea of retiring is a little more appealing. 2.) adam and graves: wedding ring edition i'll get into their actual wedding some other day, but that's beside the point. when it comes to their wedding rings, they both got matching gold bands that are on the simpler side. they keep their rings on their dogtags due to a fear of somehow losing it (adam) or a fear that it would get messed up during like... combat (graves), but they also have silicone ring that they wear on their ring fingers instead

3.) graves as a father i think, as a father, graves is a little clueless. it kinda goes back to his general inexperience with life outside of the military... but sometimes it feels like operating a pmc is leagues more easier than caring for a baby (especially one that requires as much care as rosemary). he seems a little awkward as a parent, though well meaning. to me, i think he'd do the best with teenagers- something about being able to appeal to their want to be seen as an adult and also being used to putting up with stubborn and slightly stupid recruits. also, i think that while he certainly likes having a daughter, he always imagined himself having a son if he would have kids at all.

4.) random bullshit go - graves gossips about work to rosemary. by the time shes five she knows the ins and outs of top secret government contracts /silly - graves suddenly has bursts of "holy shit i have a family" and immediately goes to adam and/or rosemary (whoevers closer) and just holds them - graves can and will be obnoxiously loud in support of rosemary - rosemary has a gaggle of uncles from shadow company (or a whole lot of grown siblings from adam constantly becoming the father figure of people)

hello guys. so, to preface this with a lore dump: rosemary (my oc), adams (also my oc) wonderful adopted daughter is. well. adopted. and while playing around with who her biological parents could be and soon my wonderful co-writer and partner in crime @andiesunflowers had eventually started talking about one vladimir makarov being her biological father..

(as a disclaimer: none of us really have the best grasp on makarov as a character, but we're trying out best here and ya!! more under the cut... also also makarov here is a like a mix between original and reboot... so keep that in mind) (these are really old too and also crackship warning)

hi quick question when did adams twink death happen? The divorce? Where dows Adam’s twinkdeath fall on the adam timeline?

okay so like. the twink death like. started once he enlisted. because yknow he has to toughen up to be a big strong marine. and it was dying a little more once he and his ex-wife were gonna have a baby. but then accelerated because of the divorce and also how he was like promoted and big and strong and stuff.

you didnt ask this but dilf rebirth offically began once he hit his thirties.

If Adam could tell his younger self one thing, what would it be?

oooooo....... it depends on like. how young his younger self is... because the answer would change yknow.

if we're talking like. before he enlists or maybe freshly after. it would probably be something along the lines of "its okay to not always be a good person." because like. one of the biggest insecurities adam has is not doing right by the people he cares for. hes always been scared of being a "bad" person or doing "bad" things, especially because for the longest time his morals were so so very black and white. anyway all this to say he would just try to reassure himself......

now. if say... its freshly after his divorce (because that happens). it would be something along the lines of before.. but more "you did all you could". because to make a long story short. he feels responsible for a lot of the things that went wrong even though he knows its a bit irrational. but the whole needing to be good stuff and yaaaaa

Does adam like to read? If so what’s his favorite genre of books?

Adam wouldn't really call himself an avid reader. Sure, he does occasionally, but that mostly consists of news articles and baby books (both the "how to parent" and "little kid stories" kind for Rosemary). Other than that, if he were to read something for fun, I think he would lean more to non-fiction. He enjoys learning new stuff, especially if it can help him in his day to day life. Besides that, he dabbles in historical-fiction type books, but that's a rarity.
