F/os who can understand your struggles PEAK!!!! This is why I HC all of my F/Os besides maybe one as either autistic or ADHD. I do have a couple people in my life and my lovely partners I can confide but socializing is very draining for me no matter who it is, having little imaginary partners I can be attracted to and help myself deal with the world and personal issues. Not only that, self shipping can be very reflective for me in a way- thinking about situations with genuine affection for characters makes it easier to figure out social situations for me.

I've been self-shipping before I knew it even had a name, and I honestly thought I was a really cringe for it- but honestly it helps me grasp real life situations and expand my creativity. Throwing this bit out there for the hidden self shippers because I've been there IT'S OKAY AND NORMAL TO BE ATTRACTED TO FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, IT CAN BE A GOOD COPING MECHANISM OR JUST SOMETHING FOR FUN.

Do I know if this made sense? Maybe, do I hope people can take something from this? Yeah.
