He was always by her side, gently holding her hand and giving it a light squeeze as though trying to guide her back from whatever plane she was floating in. He then felt her coming to, and he couldn’t help but breath a sigh of relief.
“Welcome back, kiddo,” he said softly, offering a smile as he leaned in to catch her gaze. He reached up with his free hand to brush back a few loose strands from her face. “Take it easy - you took quite a hit.”
How long had she been out? Still unable to really focus her eyes darted around trying to find something that might tell her what happened? Why was she in the hospital and why was Qrow here with her? Her Aura should have healed most anything.
“Uncle Qrow, what happened?” She asked softly. Just trying to rest her voice as much as she could.
