He brought the sandwich to his lip and stared fiercely at his opponent.

“I take pride in the food I make, Rye.” He bit into the sandwich.

“You’ve proven to be a bit... irritable. It seems prudent, especially in our line of work.” Poison was also a distinct possibility. Especially with the Organization’s ties to pharmaceuticals.

He bit into it after Bourbon, amused at the intense glare that he had gotten.

“I look like I care?” Bourbon raised an eyebrow.

Before Rye could answer, he shoved a plate of his delicious ham sandwiches (with special mayo) at him.

“Here, as a peace offering.”

“...True.”

Rye accepted the plate, but raised a brow at it. He had replaced all of Bourbon’s mayonnaise with toothpaste and Bourbon would’ve figured that out. And if the previous prank reaction was any idea, well... trying to one up him was probable.

“Perhaps we should share the peace offering.”

Bourbon practically slams his hand on Rye's door. "Hey, Bastard!"

Rye was just about to sit down and catch up on his reading when he heard slamming and yelling. Reluctantly, he got up and opened the door.

“Most people don’t appreciate being called ‘bastard.’”

"We need you to come pick him up."

“Who is this?” Because if it was certain people or groups... well... They were biting off far more than they could chew if they bought his disguise.

(If it was the school, he could at least use the excuse that the boy was a danger magnet that seemed to attract homicides.)

But that initial wording... no. He doubted it was something innocuous.

CCEdogawa (pranks if you're okay with it): *steals Akai's Subaru wig and hides it in the piano in the Kudo Manor's music room and puts a note with it- a picture of a bottle of bourbon*

“…” His wig was gone. A bit of a problem, since that was needed to complete his look and not get his head blown off if an Organization member saw him out in the streets. And, if it were someone who actually wanted to kill him, they would have just shot him in the face when he was asleep.

He went searching for it, looking for the faintest hints of where it could have gone. And he found it soon enough, noting the very faint synthetic hair shedding in a room he never visited- the music room. He looked carefully around and then propped open the piano, when everything else failed. And there it sat.A bottle of bourbon as the calling card?…Well, Bourbon was known for holding grudges. Though him coming into the house seemed unlikely. At least, this didn’t seem like his kind of prank in its execution. Something that could be outright dangerous, sure, but taking the wig was too… passive aggressive. He’d figure the details out in time, but for now, he was just going to put it back on.
