Hand painting

Finished another piece last night. For the portraits I was actually tracing over the base silhouettes, but with this one I drew it without tracing. It's so weird that it's easier to draw a hand - the scourge of all artists - than it is to draw a face, the thing I spend the most time drawing. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I still take the colours directly from the photo though.

I have só much to learn!

I've been working a lot. Reading a little and experiencing enough.

Public transportation takes a lot of time and reading on a bus turned out nauseous.

So here's a frame from a video of me washing my nose with saline. I show it to explain my "patients" at the pharmacy how it's properly done.

I hope I'll have some time to study more soon.

Paolla Oliveira (an actress) painted her nails white for piece: "no more violence!"

10 years ago a celebrity painted one nail with white polish and claimed it was for peace. Brazilian people are laughed at her "effort" and "efficacy" on her quest and it became a meme.

I am celebrating this meme, with the bitter taste of knowing that I can't do much. Even donating a little of money, because I can't be sure that it isn't going to a corrupt organization or person.

I laughed at the meme, but in the end, we are all doing the same impact as hers.
