origins: elven men are shorter and have narrower builds than human men - they are a graceful and agile but not very physically powerful race
da2: fenris has a stronger taller build than most elven men which is part of the reason why he would have been singled out by his master to become a bodyguard, he is still narrower than human men and only as tall as marian hawke though
inquisition: solas is still kinda narrow but he is six feet tall. this is foreshadowing the fact that he is a remnant of an ancient, powerful race of immortals that modern elves with their mayfly lives and slight bodies are a mere shadow of

replaying veilguard is all fun and games until you have to go to rivain again
#RIVAIN MAP I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU#it’s so linear and underwhelming and BORING#just one long like where you fight 700 qunari and walk back and forth on the same long stretch forever#NO intrigue NO interest#even the secret waterfall treasures are exactly where you expect them to be#[redacted taash storyline endgame section] you are on thin FUCKING ice but I’ll allow it for now#dragon age posting#dragon age: the veilguard#datv#and then the few quests that are there you have to almost complete and then come back to 20 hours later!!!!!!#the one (1) saving grace is the Templar ghost plotline because that’s exciting lore wise but it’s just…. kill some ghosts and now it’s fixed#grrrrrr rivain I was SO excited to go here and YET >:(
