Ancient wasteland painting from a little bit ago, I like to imagine before the disaster there was a lot of saltmarshes there

an isle concept sketch i did a little bit ago! i thought it would be fun if isle had superblooms and came alive again once every few years when the weather permitted, like a shadow of when it was a flowering grassland.

this was also an attempt to simplify my background drawing process because i wanted a faster way to get my ideas down.

also this is one of my first times posting fanart on tumblr so hopefully it goes well 😸
