could you even fit onion rings around a boner? i dont remember onion rings having that big a hole. though tbf its been a while since ive seen an onion ring, i tried them a while ago and didn't like them, and my parents never get them. google image search results for "onion ring" dont provide a great sense of scale. maybe i should just think about onions in general and use my general onion knowledge to deduce how big an onion ring would be. ok. im doing that. im thinking about onions in general. if you slice an onion into cross-sections you get a bunch of rings of various sizes. these sizes vary due to both concentricity and distance from the poles. the breading is probably negligible, maybe doubling the thickness but not affecting the inner radius by that much. probably they make onion rings out of rings of various sizes, some of which would be an appropriate size to eat off a boner, and the ones i remember just happened to be on the smaller size. ok. my curiosity is satisfied.

a few minor notes:

eva laughs bc it feels like wolfgang is taking a slight at her: stating how he values honesty the most, and how shes the 'ultimate liar.' <- not actually but she still finds it ironic

but, in truth, wolfgang IS just being honest of why he got close with grace so quickly - which i think holds true. grace is super confrontational and has to beef w anything that moves and i think something about how she lays all her cards on the table at face value is comforting to wolfgang. she's predictable. he can get used to that. he doesn't have to keep his guard raised around her like he might with other people.

and this is smth im gonna elaborate on In My Next Tsunakire Comic but as wolfgang talks with eva more in this weird afterlife situation, the more he realizes that her lies are not elaborate or intricate, and they actually reveal more about herself than if she was just truthful. another irony!

i.e. what eva chooses to lie about, what kind of lies she tells, how does she decide to lie (by omission, by creating a new truth, if they're lies about facts or her emotions or etc...)

so there's that little parallel between grace and eva: both are strangely honest in their own ways. and i think once he realizes that eva is much more truthful than she let on at first, he becomes more comfortable around her, too
