Captain Combustible is more of a mage to me consider his superpower so……..

(English is not my first language and all the info below is probably confusing even in Chinese so I just spit whatever)

Totally headcanon Captain Combustible character info (as a human)

Torter Cole - Captain Combustible

Headmaster of Greenleaf High School. Gained superpowers when visiting another high school that somehow caught on fire. Bro saved one student and accidentally obtained the superpower when bypassing a burning tree the source of fire. Still he was not able to stop the fire. Just managed to save all the trapped ones and somehow never get burned himself (superpower of course).

Was found by Crazy Dave after a short while. Full commitment into L.E.A.F. upon knowing that zombies probably gonna target more schools.

…….And somehow feel devastated knowing some students obtain the superpowers. (Will reveal later)

Plants are deities that collapsed long long ago, left relics underneath the earth that carries superpowers.

Zombies are creatures of the abyss with the instinct to the seize superpowers of plant deities. Ever since the era when plants were still awake, zombies existed already.

Now it’s 2030! For some reasons some lucky human beings managed to obtain powers from the plant relics. Normally these humans become ultra-capable (plant card level). And some how several human beings gain ever stronger power that their abilities can not only support themselves but as well support the many ultra-capable (like u know plant heroes manage the fight of cards) —— they become plant heroes!Crazy Dave a talented botanist then established L.E.A.F. —— to ensure the ultra-capable and plant heroes are found and not abusing their power, as well as combatting with Z-mech, a secret(for now) organization found by Dr. Zomboss to secretly research on seizing plant powers and destroy the humanity.

Zombies heroes are created with Z-Mech technology - in a way that Zomboss randomly transfers powers from plant relics to random zombies. Just as humans, some get slightly more power, some become zombie heroes. And some shameful failures? Nah Dr.Zomboss don’t wanna bring about that. As long as there are zombie heroes on his side(despite not all) then it’s fine.

When I first listen to the voice acting of Grass Knuckles in PvZh I legitimately thought the voice is so girl vibe.

(Especially the screaming part)

But technically plants are genderless and ppl pigeonholed them according to their voice. So yeah I define Grass Knuckles as girl boxer this will be peak.

Further headcanon: The scar is caused by bungee zombie sent by Edgar. That memory is forgotten but Ice-shroom will release the ice energy as a stress response to whatever fall from the sky. (Idk this may be changed when I really wanna start a story based on pvz1)
