Our sketch artist coments:

Helena has a big attitude so everyone here was excited for a cheesecake pinup. It was fun even though we had to keep her clothes on. We liked the seductive feeling where she could also squash you under her foot, so we went with 1. It’s a nice simple picture that gives you a nice view.

Our colorist comments:

With this illustration, I was able to see my coworker craft the piece from start to finish from the concepts to the lines. Every part of it was so exciting to watch, and to know I was going to do the color concepts for it made me super excited. I loved it so much I sought to see it through to the end and ended up doing the colors for the final image you can collect in app.

Helena looks amazing in this EI, there’s no doubt about it, and figuring out the exact mood and atmosphere with the colors was fun (I believe some of us even thought it was going to be a day scene! so the results were really stunning in the end.) As far as color drafts go, I definitely went overboard with this one and I specifically requested to finish this illustration myself because I felt so strongly about it. Painting her skin and makeup had to be one of my favorite things as well as figuring out the colors in the background and foreground to really make her pop. This has to be my absolute favorite illustration that I’ve worked on in Lovestruck thus far and I have it as my desktop background at work so I can see Helena’s beautiful body, I mean, face every day for work morale. If you haven’t played her route please do. The season finale is really great (as you can see!)

Hey @lovestruckvoltage, what’s up with this?

Like, one or two typos I could forgive, but this is a bit much. You can’t ask people to pay money for this, but then give us what feels like a half-hearted job. I mean come on, how do you misspell the name of your OWN CHARACTER?

And this isn’t even an extensive list. There are typos EVERYWHERE in this season. This is just a selection of the highlights, so you guys understand the “scape” of these mistakes.

We’re not asking for much. Please just fix this (if possible), and don’t do such a sloppy job again. It is painful to read. 

Okay, I wasn’t going to make this post and just ignore it, but after like 20+ typos, I can’t anymore. @lovestruckvoltage there are so many typos on Madison’s route that at times I don’t even know what I’m reading and it makes the experience less fun. These screenshots are not just my own, but from other people who also encountered the typos as they read the update.

Theme #20: RGBA(1)

Mobile bloggers: have you ever wanted to change your desktop theme, but were forced to wait till you got to a computer? Have you found yourself wishing the colors on your mobile theme would synchronize across devices so you wouldn’t end up with clashing color schemes, but (understandably) don’t want to use Optica? Look no further.

This is the first theme from my new RGBA() series, a line of simple, light, accessible themes that take under two minutes to fully set up. Because they are designed for quick use, these themes are ideal for anyone who wants a clean desktop theme without spending ages getting it to look right. And this is the best part - its colors synchronize with your mobile theme, so you can control how your blog looks from anywhere.

The series is named after the syntax for semi-transparent colors for a good reason - it recycles varying opacities of a single accent color throughout the page, creating a harmonious look with very little effort on the user’s part. Regardless of whether you’d rather use custom colors on desktop or you prefer the mobile-optimized version, the theme only needs three colors from you - text color, the background for the text, and an accent.

I’d really appreciate reblogs on this one, the better to help people who could really use something like this haha.

For the record, I’m just as hype for Moira as anyone else. She looks like she could be a lot of fun to play. But, I was reading her story info, and one little bit just stuck out.

Okay, so that all seems quite cool and future-sciencey. Editing cellular DNA with specially made genes, with the ultimate aim of combatting disease and genetic disorders.

Except, we can kinda do that already.

The only thing that might Moira might be doing differently, perhaps, is consistently targeting individual cells in a tissue. Even then, we’re pretty close. And anyway, we already know this stuff is ‘a promising step toward overcoming human disease’. That’s pretty much why we’re researching/developing it. But even then, I struggle to see how it could take until 2070-something to refine it like that, when we’re already most of the way there now.

Anyway, that’s just some thoughts that I needed to get out of my brain. It’s absolutely not going to stop me from playing as Moira though :)

(Quiet disclaimer: I’m a medical science student, so it’s possible I’ve got muddled somewhere in the details. But, I’m still pretty sure that a fair good chunk of her wave-making research is stuff we can pretty much do already.)
