Over the course of August and this last week, I've been taking alot of photos of the sky during different parts of the day to maybe make a collage. However, I've decided to just use these pictures as a filler post until I can gain some ideas and inspo for another design. In total, I have 32 photos of the sky. My storage is crippling right now...

These are some photos I took of some flowers that bloomed near a cafe I go to. I didn't really like photography and even though I took a course in it during high school, I didn't particularly like my teacher which may have killed it for me. I still enjoy taking my own pictures though.

Neptune is the planet of Pisces, named after the God of Sea by Urbain Le Verrier, a French astronomer and mathematician. It has 14 known moons, supersonic winds, and a blue, icy visual. It's made up of water, methane, and ammonia and is the densest out of the Gas Giants.

Neptune and Saturn are probably my favorite planets, specifically honing in on the color scheme and aesthetic.

Today I went to Morgan State University on a campus tour and after taking some pictures, I thought I could make a collage of the best ones I got. After about an hour of fiddling and contemplating which style I wanted, I settled on more of a Polaroid/ Photo alum look and I believe it turned out really well.

Driving in Baltimore was something different though...

I've been a fan of Tyler, the Creator sibce I was in middle back in 2018. I was never really into rap or hiphop growing up and as a African American teenager, you were "revoked of your black card" if hiphop or rap wasn't all that you listened to.

Tyler, the Creator, however, was one of the first hiphop/rap artist that I started listening to and STILL listen to. His music, along with similar artists like Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, etc., seemed different to me than your "stereotypical" rap, where half the song are cursing and talk about sex or money or drugs. Even though you'll find those in the mentioned artists' songs, I feel as if they're more emotionally and mentally attached to the song compared to others.

But hey, what do I know about music...

Wave to Earth is a alternative Korean rock band, consisting of 3 men;

singer + songwriter Daniel Kim,

drummer Dong Kyu Shin, and

bassist John Cha.

Even though I've only started listening to them recently, I've grown to love their music, as it's more mellow and upbeat than 'rock'. Seeing as this is my first post--and first attempt in digital design like this-- I felt like Wave to Earth was a good and easy topic to start.
