Blessed! Am I???
At times in our lives, we all pass through a phase where we find ourselves alone, broken, and disconnected from everyone and everything in the world. Where we doubt our blessed status and are forced to think that Am I his blessed soul. When this materialistic world turns face on you and you don’t know whom to depend upon. In these darkest times, when we struggle to manage the chaos around us, God sends us indications of his presence through his affectionate souls. These are the people who make you think that love is more powerful than wealth, status, and pride. Who move with you in your downs to get you back to see the brighter side of this world. Who motivate you to keep moving and stand tall even when you are kneeling before life. Who hold your hand and show you the way forward so that you can clearly foresee the path of your life.
If you also have such people around you like me then yes we are blessed. Blessed with the love of such family and friends who refrain to leave us alone, for whom our happiness has no cost. Who motivate us and boost us to stay happy and pass every challenge of this life with a smile on our faces.
In these dark times just bring yourself together for yourself and for the loved ones around you coz life has to move on. “Jeena issi ka naam hai”.

String of love
A thread that holds us all together. It is the same cord that joins us to our parents, our siblings, our family, and the love of our life who everyone waits to find out. A few lucky ones like me actually find that else most of the stories end up after days, months, or years of start. This string of love is the most beautiful feeling in the world which makes you forget the world, family, and friends but it too can sting. And the sting of love is even more dangerous because it has the potential to send you into the deepest zone of loneliness where you feel that you are a lone warrior with no love or support around. But I say with experience that this sting is reversible if you wish so. No fight is bigger than the love which two people share. Nothing in this world can be more positive or motivating than love. So always remember that although love can sting, it is also the sweetest string that can take you to merry go round ride. Love yourself and love the love of your life.

Am I today’s woman?
Being educated working women we feel that we have attained some independence. We are free to spend our earnings, take care of our grooming, gift some goodies to our loved ones and support them where needed. Till the time I was single I used to have a very strong feeling that we are in a better world, people around us understand and support our independence, and we are truly through the 21st century where we exercise equal rights for all genders. But suddenly I got married and the whole perspective started changing. As time is passing and I am closely watching the actions of some typical parts of Indian society, which surely still exist. It makes me think that am I today’s women who can still fit in the societal boundation or am I a symbol of change. I see women around me who have grown with the mindset to always look up to their husbands or in-laws for everything. To be dependent on others and to remain in a continuous pleasing attitude to get all the support they need from the people around. This situation gives me a state of dilemma, am I today’s woman or they are. Are we truly changing the world for women, are we making them understand that they also are individual beings who can have an identity? On the other side, we also see strong Indian women like Nirmala Sitharaman, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Mary Kom, Mithali Raj, PV Sindhu, and many others who are themselves a message of change but still, there are women who don’t even understand the meaning of freedom. Who is stopping them to be independent and embrace equality? Is it the society around or the family or they themselves? I hope that we all can be a part of the side which supports and promotes women rather than being the one teaching them dependency. Believing that soon all women in India will become the message of change.
