Hi! I added an interaction to these just for plantsims OR fairies, although it requires NL, AL, and “fairyglowball” to get them to turn into that beautiful glowing ball. The interaction is nonautonomous and boosts plantsims’/fairies’ sunshine/energy motive while they’re using it, ending when sunshine is max or you cancel it.

Also after taking the preview shot I got the idea to make them function like ladybug lofts, so they’ll have ladybugs flying around them and were moved into the gardening section. I included a separate global mod so they can also protect nearby plants from bugs.

Disclaimer: Anyone who’s used the “fly here” interaction knows the sims game can be… bad at maintaining sims’ transparency. I added a check to restore transparency if it’s lost, but you might still see the sim flicker into view before the check can re-invisibalize them.

UPDATE 1/24/19: Critical fix for the mod that allows them to function like ladybug houses. Also, added “just ladybug house” versions that have the ladybug effects and will be recognized by the mod as ladybug houses but won’t have the option to enter.

UPDATE 2/4/19: Now the versions for my fairy lifestate have been moved to this post.

UPDATE 7/28/19: Pie menu string has had other languages removed (since they weren’t proper translations of “enter” but instead leftover translations of “view”).

UPDATE 6/4/20: Updated fairy versions for compatibility with fairy changelings. If you have that mod this will only be available to full-blooded magical fairies.

UPDATE 12/22/20: Updated fairy versions to fix issue with sims not exiting the fairy house when the interaction was canceled.

Sunlamp Controller

Disclaimer: this isn't an April fool's joke lol

This little control panel makes all lights located in the same room with it work like sunlamps.

The controller is only needed for lights that aren't actual sunlamps. This mod by Sophie-David is incorporated, so the cheaper fluorescent lamp and custom lights with orig GUID 0x6CC90706 are recognized as sunlamps.

For other kinds of lamps, you'll need a control panel for each room you want extra sunlight in. They work in greenhouses and outdoors as well, on all lot types.

I didn't want it to be too cheaty, so the controller costs 1.5x the price of one fluorescent lamp.

The files are compressed. Conflicts with Sophie-David's sunlamp mod, just delete it before adding these.

Update 18.10.2024: The screen is now separately recolorable. I added a few options for the screen and two new wooden recolors for the console.

Hello Gummi, I just wanted to know if your Age-based computer chat menu mod also gives sims in chats their full name? Because HCDU is telling me your mod conflicts with hexagonal-bipyramid's online chat shows full name mod. Unless your mod already cover this, anyway I can have both? Thanks for your time :)

My mod does not have the fullname. I don't personally like that because it clutters up the menu and I'm not really going to have two sims of the same age with the same name, but you are in luck! 😉My good friend @goldenbtrfly also likes full names and I made a compatible version for her that I just never shared.

We always need more nice suits, right? The originals were enabled for EM, so if you want only my version to show up for them, you have to manually edit the original files to only show up for AM (it's pretty easy to do with the Outfit Organiser!)

They have fatmorph, come in the original 16 colors (swatch is stolen), and you can choose if you want them repo'd to the AM files (that you can find here), or not :)

I've shared my Splatoon 2 Wingtips (brogues) conversion as creator resource HERE (SFS) or HERE (BOX) - archive contains shoes (1742 poly) plus naked AM bottom with morphs, bumpmaps and new textures.

I've struggled a bit with adjusting this suit for TS2 body, not super happy with the legs part but it's acceptable. Original shoes are not bad but not formal enough so I decided to ditch those (might do them as separate shoe resource) .

I've included TXMT settings for the shoes (matt / shiny) - white, brown and black texture included with the mesh, so you can easily change shoe colors in SimPe. Also, shine can be switched off by setting 'reflection' mode to 'none'.

Blue stripey suit is original texture with edited tie color.

Three recolors with jeans are categorized as Everyday, other recolors are Everyday & Formal.

Roof Match Mania!

“A Bit Steep” Mansard Roofing

I love the deco roof pieces that came with Apartment Life and Mansion & Garden Stuff, I really do. But my main issue with them has always been that they don’t have all the roof patterns, and in fact only Mansion & Garden Stuff came with matching roof patterns, so I couldn’t mix and match without my obsessive compulsive tendencies going haywire!

So I fixed it!

Now the AL and M&G roof pieces have (almost) all the Maxis roof patterns from Basegame, University, and Bon Voyage!

Better Argue Anims

For an unknown reason, Maxis used 'agree' talk anims for the argue interaction. Especially weird as it always causes a relationship hit. In my book, that's the opposite of agreeing.

This mod replaces the argue anims with ones that look, well, arguing. No more enthusiastic smiling while being rampaged at.

Should be base game compatible. I don't know anything this conflicts with, but run HCDU to be sure.

I have a little surprise for you: recolors of IKEA Uldum and Hampden rugs.

Some time ago Anna posted beautiful recolors of Holy Simoly rug, a true ‘must-have’ for all Simmers. I thought it would be nice to have it also in different shape. So here it is - Uldum rug in all 30 of Anna’s colors using Holy Simoly texture.

💚 Traits, Refreshed & Randomized

I'm currently in the testing process for V2 of my Trait-Based Chemistry mod, but I wanted to go ahead and share this first, since I intend these to be used with that mod.

The original 3t2 traits were released 6 years ago, and I thought it was time for a fresh look. And while Flippity Flop traits by @anachronisims/@cityof2morrow filled in some gaps, I still felt like there were some aspects of real life personalities that were missing. And like most things, I started working on this and couldn't stop. Here's what you'll find in the download folders:

New icons for 3t2 & Flippity Flop traits, using 4t2 icons

Increased texture size for all traits, so they look a bit nicer in Sims' inventories - these went from 128x64 to 256x128 (preview below the cut)

9 new traits to complement the above sets

New icons for some "bonus" traits like @tammyhybrid21's Alien trait and @midgethetree's Fairy trait, plus 8 new completer bonus traits

Mesh swap of Simlogical's Prisoner Tag to fit the same format as the traits

Optional renamed traits (included in a separate folder with credits where applicable)

Trait randomizer program using Hook's RandomStuff

All traits use their original GUIDs and file names so you can just replace them in your downloads folder if you have the originals. You may need to manually refresh thumbnails in-game to see the new icons.

‼️The collection file is required - these objects will not show up in the catalog. If you are new to using traits, you also MUST have the trait_MAIN file from the original traits project post.

It's been ages since I shared anything and I started this project months ago, so it's highly possible I made a mistake somewhere. Let me know if you run into any issues!

Updated 2/16/25: Fixed an error where some of the renamed traits were showing in the catalog instead of collection only. Archives have been updated.

Updated 2/20/25: The Minimalist trait texture was showing up as a recolor for Black Thumb, and I accidentally packaged a version of the Prisoner trait without the custom thumbnail. Archives have been updated but you can get the individual files here.

Wants and Fears Sanity 3t2 Traits Edition #2 "Deviance"

This mod that edits check trees was inspired by looking at the Sims wiki articles for the Evil and the Mean Spirited trait, and by playing an Evil Popularity Sim once and wondering why she would be rolling fears of making an enemy, or conversely, wanting to lose an enemy by befriending them.

In the Sims 3, Mean-Spirited Sims actually get a mood boost from making enemies and being around them.

Why would they want to lose that??

So, this mod gives some logic to wants rolled by truly diabolical Sims!

Traits Affected: Evil, Mean Spirited

Effects:

Evil and Mean-Spirited Sims won’t roll wants to stop being enemies. (CT - Test - Lose Enemy)

Evil and Mean-Spirited Sims won’t roll fears of making enemies even if they are a Popularity Sim. (CT - Test - Be Enemies)

Only Evil Sims will roll “Drink Sim from Cowplant” wants (CT - At Least Teen - (Can be Dead)) They still have to be furious or enemies with someone just like normal

Mean-Spirited won’t roll fears of having a bad conversation. (CT - Test - Talk)

Wfsanity by Pescado has an error with referencing a Want Guid that doesn't exist (CT - Test - At Least Child) that I found so I'd advise against this mod, or you can just delete that BHAV and the BHAVS that conflict with mine in SimPe. I picked and chose from this mod.

To be honest, if you aren't handy with SimPe, I would not download be careful about downloading any combination of mods that edit want check trees, but the worst that will happen is that you will have Sims with traits rolling wants that don't make sense. Or Wants Controller errors if the BHAVS conflict.

Be sure to check out all the Want Disabling mods by DeeDee on her Tumblr! Technophobes won't roll wants to use electronics, for example and I have a FUN mod in testing right now for Technophobes as well ... an homage, if you will, to Sims 3.

This mod modifies the following BHAVS:

CT - Test -Talk (Bad convo) 0x1127

CT - Test - Be Enemies 0x1105

CT - Test - Lose Enemy 0x1107

CT - Test - At Least Teen (Can be Dead) (Cowplant want) 0x11AD
