Welcome Home Mats 🚪

Fulfilling a request from @master-turtlehermit! Apologies for this taking so much longer than I wanted it to. The holidays were crazy busy and then spring was even crazier irl 😅 Plus, I've been working really hard on my biggest mod to date and I'm so excited to share it with everyone!!

With that out of the way, here are some lovely welcome mats! The mat in the top left corner is from The Sims 4: For Rent, the mat in the bottom left corner is by Ravasheen, and the two mats on the right are by incandescentsims, split between non-recolorable overlays (Pt. 1) and recolorable mats with text only (Pt. 2).

yes...yes, i did. @simmingberryland made a huge difference in my game before they decided to stop converting from ts4 and it has really inspired me to take on these huge projects, their legacy needs to be carried on😩 i tried my absolute best and although simmingberryland would have done a much better job than me, i'm still pretty proud of it💗

the kit has 32 items in total, i truly have no idea who converted the counters in the picture it had no name in the description so if you converted them and you see this please let me know so i can credit you!! 💗

do i actually need to write out every piece of info for every object...i'm seriously asking cuz if it really helps people i'll do it but that's a whole lot😭 if yall really want me to do that with these tho please let me know and i'll do it I GUESSSSSSSS

as for general info tho:

everything is relatively low-poly since the meshes are directly from EA

i made everything as recolorable as my mental sanity allowed, one object isn't recolorable at all i'm sorry i just couldnt idk why

the fridge has recolorable swatches HOWEVER they are not the swatches with all the fun magnets and stuff on them...making those recolorable would have killed me i think

the object with the mugs is split into two pieces, the actual mug stand and then the accessories at the bottom it just allowed for more versatility in recoloring and you can maybe use the accessories for other things too 🤍

i HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend @omedapixel Decorator Tools Mod, literal lifechanger and will help you with slotting the objects that i failed to make slottable (i tried, it didnt work 😔)

OH ALSO really recommend the Catalog Search Mod by @lazyduchess , all objects can be searched through "sofayya" with it, you can also find everything within the collection file

we can obviously see these conversions are not perfect simply by these notes but i really did try my best and i hope yall can get something out of them regardless 🤍

TS4 Country Kitchen Kit Counters & Base Game Things to TS3

I have converted TS4 Country Kitchen Kit Counters & Base Game Things to TS3 including 33 items. The shelf, decor, fridge & stove, and a separated version of the sink were converted by @twinsimming here & here. I have added their items to my collection file so they should show up if you have/download them. I took full advantage of the beloved CAST tool (Create a style) on most objects which you can view some of the channels above. I kept the pricing from Sims 4. Please advise me of any issues. Thank you and enjoy. 😇

*Note* - I've created a new Counter OMSP. It's a island counter that has a invisible swatch. It slots appliances and barstools. However if put inside a counter or island the game will not see the counter or omsp as a surface to cook on. With that you will need to have at least one of the Country Charm Counter or Country Charm Kitchen Island base pieces to cook. Lastly, the counter pieces that aren't the above are just surfaces so sims can't pick up food or eat on them unless the plate/serving is slotting to the counter omsp which can a bit tricky. If I need to do a tutorial I will if that doesn't make sense.

This is going to be extraordinarily random but due to current events in the US I think this is the least I could offer, as an insider:

If you want to piss a "christian" right winger off, while making a clear statement of their terrible behavior, wait for them to say/do anything religious and hit them with the:

"YOU 're christian?! I would never know!"

Don't make it sound ironic. Act as if you're surprised. This is will kill your MAGA uncle on the spot. Because this shows them that they're not "making a difference", and also that they're somehow not acting like Jesus. The fact that they care about this shocks me because i can't conceive the idea of someone being ableist or racist or xenophobic or transphobic and many other dumb stuff and attending to a church every sunday but well. The internet has shown me otherwise.

Anyway do us the normal christians a favor, kill them with their own venom and don't forget to drink water!!

This is very good advice!

My computer is currently holding on to its dear life, so unfortunately, storage is a problem. Another thing we can try to do is compress everything and put in Google Drive (or another drive/cloud) for safe keeping! Though, I'm not sure if it will work in practice since I'm just theorizing right now.

Well, well. I've been wanting this hair in game for ages, but it was too high poly, and decimate would horribly distort it! Since I like to suffer, I decided to convert it myself and reduce the poly by hand, strand by strand. I'm glad it worked!
