Hello everyone! I made some ombre recolors for this beautiful hair made by @simduction. I also want to credit @kismet-sims cuz i used their ombre accessory to create this recolor.

This is a standalone hair, there are 32 swatches in total, enjoy! :)

I made my own Photoshop Actions to recolor any old cc hair that's missing some of EA’s swatches. You need to use the Dirty Blonde (#13) as a base.

The Other Side - 10 New Skintones for Dark and Light Complexions

Today I bring you an experiment that came about from the selection of skin colours available in TS4. There is a serious lack of dark skin colours, and the light ones have left a lot to be desired. After a bit of research, diving into the clientfullbuild files, lots of backwards and forwards into the game for testing, hex editing to edit the colour swatches because s4pe threw errors, I finally came up with the lightside and darkside skintones. I could not be more happy with my first, and possibly last foray into the world of TS4 skins. I came away knowing more about the game and some awesome new colours that don’t look jaundice or ashy.

Also forgot to add this, I love the idea of the depressed trait. The other one's I've tried just only make my sims sad every 5 hours, and it looks like you've put a lot into it so I appreciate it <3

Hiya sweets! I absolutely adore your traits & careers and have been using them for a while!! I was just wondering if you'd ever be interested in making a Never Nude trait? I just enjoy the comedic part and miss it from ts3! Was wondering if it'd ever be possible?

Hii and thanks so much that means a lot to me♥ Yeah I remember this trait xD I guess I could recreate it up to a point but I think this one’s a bit tricky. Cuz while it’s easy to add buffs for when Sims take their clothes off for whatever reason.. I’m not sure about if and how I could overwrite the default outfit for showering, which means that sims will always shower naked (instead of wearing their swimsuit like in the sims 3) and as a result they’d get a negative moodlet every time they go to shower which probably doesn’t sound ideal..right? But also I didn’t play with this trait much in the Sims 3 so I don’t really know how it works . I'll look into it when I get some time and see if I can figure things out, I don’t have my hopes up tho .-. ♥

DEPRESSED TRAIT (OUTDATED)

I know depression traits have been done before, but all of the ones I found were outdated so I decided to make my own version. The idea was to make this trait deeper than the BG gloomy trait. I certainly didn't want it to feel empty so I put a lot of work in this and tried to make it as present and impactful to the gameplay as possible. I'm very happy with the result and I'll definitely use this one a lot:)

Depressed Sims are sad by default. I would suggest using this trait in combination with the Basemental Drugs mod to get the full experience. That is because this mod will allow your sims to get antidepressants that will "fix" the sad moodlet. That can be done by clicking on your sim's phone and selecting "Go to the doctor", your sim will return with a Xanax pill bottle in their inventory. Sims will take those automatically if you leave them in their inventory or anywhere in the house. There is also an OD option if you take too many, which will result in your sim dying. But don't worry, Sims will not overdose autonomously. Alternatively, you can use the functional medicine found here, which adds different types of medicine to the game. (In this case, the pills have to be taken manually.) But ofcourse, you could also just download the trait and use it on it's own. Your Sim will remain sad unless there are 2+ points in other-than-sad moodlets (assuming you don't have any extra sad buffs atm).

Ages: Child to Elder

Conflicts with the Cheerful trait, Cas animation same as the gloomy trait

3 Occasional buffs: - It's Another One Of Those Days (+1, 30%/24h) - Feeling Worthless (+2, 20%/24h) - Suicidal Thoughts (+3, 10%/24h)

Other buffs: - I'd Rather Be In Bed (will occur if your Sim hasn't slept or taken a nap in a bed, sofa or coffin in more than 9 hours) (80%) - Those Lyrics Really Hit Me (has a 70% of occuring when your sim is listening to Pop, Tween Pop, Latin Pop, Alternative, Electronic or  Romantic Music) - Not Alone (Will occur when a Depressed Sim is near another Depressed Sim)

Autonomy: gloomy and creative autonomy commodities (This determines how your Sim will behave when left on their own)

2 NEW SOCIAL INTERACTIONS ADDED!

Depressed Sims will have the ability to Joke about killing themselves (Funny section) and Talk about Depression (Friendly section) with others. Using those interactions will result in the other Sim learning that your Sim is depressed.

Depressed Sims will get the same whims as Gloomy Sims which include: paint, play the guitar/violin/piano, cry it out, blog about feelings, cry in the closet, send a sad text, listen to music, be alone, write in journal etc. I also added take a photo and take a nap.

Skill and Need Decay Changes: Energy will decay x0.4 faster Social need decay x0.2 slower Friendly & Romantic Relationships will build x0.2 slower All Creative Skills: x0.2 faster (+2 Effectiveness) All Musical Skills: x0.2 faster (+2 Effectiveness) All Athletic Skills: x0.2 slower (-1 Effectiveness) All Social Skills: x0.2 slower (-1 Effectiveness) As you can see I only made small changes because I wanted to make it as realistic as possible and not cheaty or annoying to the player.

Disclaimer: I know and understand depression is a mental illness and not a personality trait but regardless, in my opinion and personal experience depression heavily affects how a person feels and behaves and it was made merely for the players that want to achieve a more realistic kind of gameplay.
