Cato got on his shoes, and sent a quick text to Brynn to meet him at the town's pub. Then caught a cab there.

When he arrived he found Brynn waiting for him at the bar already.

"Hey." Cato said as he walked up to Brynn and sat down. Brynn looked up at him.

"Hi." He looked worse for the wear, with red rimmed eyes and bags under his eyes. Before they could continue their conversation the Bartender came over to ask what they wanted and they ordered two beers.

"So what happened?" Cato asked

"Well..."

Cato stepped forward and pulled Naomi into a kiss "I'll be back as soon as possible, and then maybe you can tell me exactly what you had been thinking just now."

Naomi giggled and kissed him back "I'll be waiting for you."

Cato found Naomi in the kitchen, washing some of Blaine's bottles while humming to herself. He couldn't help but smile when he saw her. Motherhood looked good on her, it made her glow in a way that made him fall even harder for her. He watched her in silence.

She noticed him and looked up. "Hey." She said, turning off the water in the sink and drying her hands on a nearby towel.

"Hi." Cato said, a bit breathlessly while Naomi shyly smiled at him. Sometimes he felt like he could pinch himself and he'd wake up and this would all be a dream. He has almost forgotten why he came in here in the first place.

"Where's Blaine?" He continued, clearing his throat

"Sleeping, why?" Naomi asked, she leaned closer to him. "Did you have something in mind?" She asked, a hint of teasing in her voice that made Cato heat up.

"Save that thought for later." Cato promised with a smirk. "Sadly, Brynn just called. Apparently him and Alexa broke up."

"What?" Naomi asked

"I said the same thing. He asked to stay here for a bit."

Naomi sighed and shook her head. "But why would they break up?"

"Hell if I know. Will you be ok for a few hours by yourself while I go and try and knock some sense into that stupid blue head of his."

Naomi nodded. "Yeah, we will be fine."

It was a month later when Cato received a call from Brynn.

Alexa and Brynn had moved with them to Moonlight Falls and into a small place together.

"What?" Cato answered as soon as he picked up the phone.

"Sheesh man, you don't sound happy at all."

"Do I ever?"

there was a laugh from the other side of the phone, and Cato's frown deepened

"Anyways, I have a favor to ask you."

"What?" Cato repeated

"I kinda need a place to crash for a bit."

"Why? Weren't you staying with Alexa?" Cato asked

"Was, she's a bit upset with me right now. We kinda uhh. Broke up."

There was a beat of silence.

and then another, before Cato rubbed his temple and sighed.

"Let me ask Naomi something and I'll get back to you."

Being new parents was rough for both of them. Up at all hours of the night for feedings and diaper changes.

Sometimes they wondered what they had gotten themselves into.

Brynn: he's try sexual. he'll try anything once. yes, even that. No limits with him. He'll even tie himself to the bed while he waits for you to decide how things will be.

Cato: No strings attached. It's just sex for him. He'll be sure she reaches climax before him but otherwise once he's done he tends to disappear somewhere. No pillow talk after, no lingering, no cuddling. That one time with Kylie was an accident. Pretty distant, he will dominate though. Well, until he met Naomi. She's different for him, and he's completely devoted to her.

Naomi: she's pretty vanilla in bed. She's only had sex with two people though. Noah and Cato. She doesn't have a lot of experience so she would be pretty shy. She opens up a little more with Cato though but nothing too wild.

Alexa: passionate she likes to dominate . And drive her lovers crazy by dragging it out as long as she can. She might not seem it by her personality but she can be quite a tease.

She leaves the hospital three days later with a bundle of joy in her arms. A little boy that has Cato's hair and her eyes, time will tell if he has inherited any powers from Cato.

They name him Blaine
