Black History Month is here! My son and I are the authors of the book, Our-Story Black History for Kids: Scientists. I started exposing him to Black History at three-years-old through story telling and hands-on activities. One of his favorite projects was the making the rocket. It helped him remember Mae Jemison, who was a NASA astronaut and the first Black woman to travel into space. We wrote this book so other children could have a fun experience with learning  Black History. Most of the projects use household materials. Additionally we have references to my son's YouTube channel, Corban's Fun Learning Adventures, where you can see videos of how to do some of the activities.
