Carl would DEFINITELY teach you how to shoot a gun if you didn't know already. He can't have you out with walkers without you knowing how to shoot.

It was a peaceful morning in Alexandria, as you sat at your dining table drinking, likely well past expired, instant coffee, flipping through a book you and Carl had found on a run weeks prior.

Of course, your calm period would soon end with a knock at your door. You cock a curious eyebrow at the door before taking one last sip of your coffee and sighing, before getting up to see who it is.

You are pleasantly surprised to see Carl standing there, with a look you can only describe as purposeful. "Oh hey, Carl! I wasn't expecting you today." You beamed with a smile that Carl adored so much.

But, he wasn't just here to gawk over your pretty smile. "May I come in?" He inquired, glancing around the inside of your home behind you.

You nodded suspiciously, stepping aside for him, and shutting the door behind him. "So what's up?"

"I want to teach you how to use a gun, Y/N."

"Okay, straight to the point." You giggle, walking over to him and crossing your arms. "Why, exactly?"

"You need to be safe outside the walls. You can't keeping using your knife, or whatever's available at the time, Y/N/N." He glances down at you, and you can tell he's serious.

Carl doesn't take the safety of his loved ones as a joke.

Which, is how you ended up here after what felt like hours of convincing to Carl, but in reality was about twenty minutes.

He stood so close behind you, you could feel his breath on your neck. "So, I want you to keep a steady stance—" He began to explain, as you felt watching eyes on the two of you. You turn in the direction of the sensation. It was Tara snickering to herself about this situation.

Needless to say, you— well, Carl— never lived that moment down.

"'Oh, Y/N, let me press up against you to teach you how to shoot a gun!!'" One of the resident teens in Alexandria, who was Carl's friend, teased, laughing his ass off.

"It wasn't like that! She just.. didn't know how to shoot one so I.. offered to teach was all." Carl muttered with a scoff.

"Dude, you were totally rubbing up on her!" The teenager continued, tears forming in his eyes from the utter enjoyment.

It was a frigid December evening in the gated community, and you walked, travel-cup in hand, alongside the sheriff's boy.

"I totally miss normal holidays. What do you think, instead of evergreen trees we string a walker up with Christmas lights?" You glance over at the boy who's cheeks were lightly dusted with pink, which you could only assume was caused by the cold.

"Good luck finding Christmas lights." Carl chuckled to himself as a cold blast of winter air blows through the town, swaying trees, and causing goosebumps to form on your skin.

You shiver at the icy wind, holding your arms. Carl takes immediate note of this and slides his flannel over your shoulders without a word.

"What's this for?"

"You seemed cold." He shrugged, playing off the gesture like nothing.

But to you it was everything.

Wearing his flannel around after that, however? So. Much. Teasing. From. The. Group.

Having been called to an urgent meeting by Rick, you glance around your living room for something quick to throw on to protect against the temperatures.

After a moment or so of searching, you spot something messily thrown over the back of your couch.

Carl's flannel.

You debate wearing it, realizing the implications it brings and what the group might think of it, although the urgency of the moment causes you to throw all of that out the window, as you snatch it off the couch and race out the door while putting it on.

You stood in the town hall of sorts within the safe-zone, swaying upon your feet, your arms crossed and your eyebrows furrowed in concentration.

Carl stood next to Rick as always, scanning the group for all who were in attendance. Soon enough, his eyes fell upon you, for longer than they probably should've.

Were you wearing his shirt?

His face flushed, remembering how you got it. Wow, did you look good. As you spoke to Aaron about plans for recruiting, you began to feel eyes boring into your soul.

Shit, was the flannel too big of a deal? No one had said anything to you about it— yet. You started to run through every thought before looking up and meeting Carl's eyes for a second, causing him to look away embarrassed.

"I think if we take this path—" Aaron paused, inspecting the expression on your face. He assumed you'd stopped paying attention a second ago due to you nodding along to clearly horrible ideas, but he couldn't figure out why you were so unfocused.

Luckily, it didn't take a genius to realize why you were spacey. He followed your stare, ending up at the sheriff's boy, making him chuckle.

Having heard what sounded like a teasing laugh, you snap out of your trance of sorts, shooting a glare to Aaron. "What?" You ask harshly.

"Nothing, just seems like a certain blue-eyed cowboy has your attention, so much so you think walking straight into a horde sounds like a good idea." He barely stifles his laughter.

"Who? Carl? No, no!" You exclaim, desperately trying to explain the situation.

"Isn't that his flannel?" Aaron cocks an eyebrow at you, snorting.

You pause in your tracks, realizing he has a point. You were wearing his flannel, and you were staring at him across the hall.

He had caught you red-handed.

Little things mattered to you, even if they were things you didn't even need help with.

You stood, waltzing around the library a few blocks from Alexandria. Having freshly been de-walkerfied, and deemed safe, you waltzed around between the bookshelves utterly carefree.

Of course, you had dragged Carl along, however he was happy to join, of course. He loved reading a good comic or two, and where better to find them than a safe, undead-less library?

Having found yourself in what was previously the young adult novel section, which is now  miscellaneous books strewn about haphazardly upon a few shelves.

A frown quickly spread on your face, for your favorite section to be in such disarray. You began placing the books back where they belonged, starting from the bottom shelf and working your way up.

Unfortunately for you, once you reached the shelf at eye-level, you realized one of the books needed, was placed on the top shelf. You sighed, and lifted up onto your tippy-toes, and reached as far as your arm would let you, to no avail.

Carl, on the other hand, had found a lovely area to sit and read some comic he stumbled upon, thankfully for you, within eyesight of the young adult novel section. As you struggled to reach for the book, Carl flipped the page, glancing up over the papers, to be met with your predicament.

You stretched and grabbed, only to be met with nothing. Suddenly, the book you needed was plucked off the top shelf and into your hand with one swift motion. You glance up confused, to be met with your one-eyed beauty.

"Here." He says simply, giving you a small smile.

"I could've gotten it, you know." You roll your eyes, with an equally as stupid small smile.

"I know you could've. Just didn't want to watch you struggle."

Of course, he knew that you wouldn't have been able to grab it anytime soon, but who was he to say that?

GENSHIN BOYS FINDING YOUR DIARY ABOUT THEM - HEADCANONS

You often wrote about your crush in your diary. You didn't believe that he would reciprocate your feelings, so you often found comfort in writing about him in your diary.

On a particular instance however, he was hanging out in your room and you had got up to prepare some snacks for him. While you were away, he looked to your blanket and noticed a little pink book semi-covered by the blanket. Curious, he picked it up and read it.

CYNO

- Shocked and intrigued.

- Would probably only ever bring it up if you banter together and it subtly suggests this instance.

-pretends to not know you like him when you come back with the snacks

-dw though if you find out, he's nervous/panicked too, he just doesn't wanna show it pookie ;)

-has a really bad joke or pun when you both banter and you find out

"I'm sorry. I couldn't resist the opportunity to 'snoop' at you. You're simply too fine to just stay in the 'shadows' and 'hide away' like that."

ALHAITHAM

- intrigued too, but mainly calm. He'd already suspected that you liked him.

- he'll probably just keep reading when you come in and catch him.

- bro just reads like it's any ordinary book, silent and focused 😭. You better hope you didn't narrate a whole story/fanfic of you both, or a vivid dream depicted in detail because hell of lord, he's going to read through it like it's written by Shakespeare. 💀

- probably will just spend more time with you after that and wait till you directly confess to him. He doesn't know romance stuff ight 😞

"I know." He reads a book while he hardly gives you any eye contact. "You wrote it in a diary." The silence and awkwardness fills the air. Your face was flushing knowing he had read through it. Alhaitham doesn't really know how romantic gestures work, but his cheeks were slightly tinted. You decided to break the silence by asking him out. "Sure, but if you let me finish reading that diary of yours."

CHILDE

- intrigued like everyone else. Excited knowing you feel the same way.

- brings it up the moment you walk in with the snacks

-will poke fun and tease you at how 'cheesy' and red you are.

-he's not missing an opportunity to just tease and ask you out.

"My my! What do we have here?~ Seems like someone has a bit crush on this harbinger! So...how about a date in a fancy restaurant located at Fontaine? My treat of course~"

ZHONGLI

- Zhongli is a gentleman, he would never snoop. In this case, let's re-write it a little. He would be trying to put the book to a shelf to help you keep organized. He'd unknowingly read the book for the contents to place it to it's respective place until he slowly realizes what it was.

- Like Alhaitham, he suspected you liked him in the first place. He's been in this world for so long, so it wasn't hard to recognise. He was calm too, but a little shocked reading through your diary.

- he's a respective man! He would probably read one or two pages out of curiosity and stops there for your privacy. He'd then put it back to your shelf.

- honest. When you come back, he'd straight up tell you he saw it on accident and that he was sorry.

- avoids embarrassing/teasing you, SUCH A GENTLEMAN GAH...

- prolly would subtly confess that he likes you too but if you seem like you wanted it to be a secret, he drops it and pretends like he doesn't know until you are ready enough to confess.

"My apologies. I was trying to put your diary back to a shelf and had read the contents unknowingly. I read the contents because i wasn't sure which category to place it in." He then takes a sip of his tea you poured him a while ago. "Though...I do wish to admit that I feel as if I may be able to reciprocate those feelings of yours. If you would give me a chance, that is."

jealous zhongli my beloved

nestled right in the heart of qiaoying village sits a cozy little apothecary run by you and zhongli. 

your little shop is popular for locals and tourists alike, perfect for people looking for natural remedies or just a new tea brew. today is a little bit slower, with everyone in liyue harbor celebrating lantern rite. so zhongli sits in the back with a half drained cup of tea, reviewing the shop’s finances and balancing the books while you work up front, greeting and assisting the last few customers of the afternoon. 

every so often he lets his focus drift to where you’re working, passing out unlit sparklers to a trio of young children. you shake your head when their parents try to pay, smiling softly when the young ones thank you excitedly and rush out, dragging the adults behind them. 

zhongli’s mind begins to wander to the future, as it often does on days such as this. perhaps next year, you’d be handing sparklers to children of your own.

“are you almost ready to go?” you ask, appearing in the doorway, just as he’s brainstorming baby names in the margins of his work. “i’m waiting on one last gentleman, then we can close for the day.”

zhongli leans back, watching you with a measured expression as he considers your words. “i see. may i ask who this gentleman is? he must be important, if we’re waiting for his business.” 

amusement dances across your expression. “he came by yesterday while you were in the city, inquiring about teas. i think you’d enjoy his company, he reminded me of you. incredibly knowledgeable, wise beyond his years, not to mention very handsome…”

now he was really aching to leave, but not to the harbor to witness the festivities. he was aching to take you home, grab his spear, then return and wait for this gentleman.

you look over your shoulder when the bell at the front door tinkles. “oh! there he is!” 

“i should greet him,” zhongli suggests (though it doesn't really sound like a suggestion). “i'm sure we have much to discuss.”

“alright, my love. lead the way,” you tease, letting him position himself in front of you. 

zhongli forces a somewhat pleasant smile and tone as he greets the customer clad in the fineries of…fontaine. 

it takes all of three seconds for him to realize that this is no customer. 

but he can't do anything, not in front of you, and he’s sure the hydro dragon wouldn't be so foolish to threaten the safety of one’s mate. 

“monsieur neuvillette!” you greet cheerily, peeking around zhongli’s defensive stance. “i have the tea blends you ordered stored in the back. i’ll go grab them.” 

so begins a true gentleman’s argument. 

“welcome. is there anything i can assist you with in the meantime?” (why have you come?)

the chief justice smiles, though it looks practiced and every bit as forced as zhongli’s. “i’ve just come because i admire fair prices.” (i've come for justice)

zhongli has always known this confrontation would come. though the authority of the original elemental dragons has disappeared from the world, a new generation has come to reclaim what was lost. 

“i see.” (i see)

“i've heard much about this place from the locals.” neuvillette says, fearlessly holding eye contact with the archon. “you’ve created quite the human life for yourself, morax. an artifact appraiser, funeral consultant, and now you run a successful apothecary with your lovely mate.”

something old, draconic, possessive rumbles through veins. 

neuvillette merely chuckles as the earth beneath the shop trembles lightly. 

though you return just in time to quell the impending earthquake, zhongli’s possessiveness flares through no fault of his own. dragons mate for life, and though he has the utmost trust in you, he does not trust the dragon from fontaine smiling so politely at you. 

with his gaze narrowed so dangerously, he misses the amused look you cast up at him when his hand grasps your waist, securing you at his side. 

“thank you for your patronage, monsieur, but we are now closed. safe travels back to fontaine.”

he doesn't bother waiting for a reply, dragging you away from the counter and into the back room as you try to look over your shoulder.

“thank you for coming, monsieur–”

zhongli presses his lips to yours before you can say his name, the hand not gripping your waist cupping the back of your neck as he crowds you against the wall. 

there’s only one, foolproof way to mark you as his.

good thing he already has names picked out.

a great place to download sims is from your favorite creators patreon. they will include a zip file which has both - the CC you’ll need & the Tray files you’ll need for the sim to show up in your game. you will need to place the CC folder into your mods folder, & tray files into your tray folder.

if you have a windows computer, your tray folder can be found in documents > electronic arts > sims 4 > tray folder. that is where you can put all of your tray files for the sims so they show up in game. you’ll know they’re tray files because they’re not in the CC folder & start with “0”

after you’ve downloaded the necessary files for the sims, they will show up in your gallery folder in CAS. make sure to have “include custom content” checked or they might now show up.
