Dating time!

Dorothy had been thinking about Siobhan since the welcome wagon stopped by several days ago. Siobhan had been looking at Dorothy alot during that day, and every time Dorothys eyes met Siobhans eyes, she felt warm and fuzzy in her entire body. Her heart skipped a beat, she was sure of it. Could it be? Dorothy had heard about it before, but never thought she would be one of the lucky ones to experience it. But maybe she was, maybe this was what it felt like. Love. Love at first sight. 

Now they had been texting for days, hours and hours of texting back and forth. Flirting. Hearts. Personal stories and getting to know eachother. Suddenly one day she got a text from Siobhan, asking a question that had been on Dorothys mind since Siobhan left the first time: “Do you want me to come over tonight? I’m sick of just texting, I want to really talk and spend time with you.. What do you say?” “YES!” was the first thing that popped into Dorothys head. Of course she wanted her to come over, it was all she wanted.

Siobhan rushed over to Dorothy, and they had the most lovely date. They were telling jokes and laughing, keeping warm with the fire. After a little while they naturally just came closer and closer to eachother. Giving eachother flirtfull looks and tiny winks. There was no doubt in her mind anymore. It must all have been faith. She was meant to fall in love with this tiny nook in this neighborhood, because her one true person was here. Dorothy grabbed Siobhans hand and got up. She stared into her eyes. At first very nervous and a bit unsure if she even dared to do it. “Okey Dorothy, it’s now or never” she thought to her self, and just did it. She leaned in, and kissed her. Siobhan seemd a bit surprised at first, but quickly returned the kiss. As the night progressed, they became closer, and were both agreeing that they should start seeing eachouther on a regular basis.

Introducing the makeover of Siobhan Fyres:

So, the thing is.. Dorothy really connected with Siobhan Fyres, to the point where feelings got involved. When I saw that that would be the way things were, I decided she needed a makeover. She got some skin details, new hair and eyebrows, a new style and some lighter makeup. I think she looks gorg!

Welcome wagon

Hey, look at that! The neighbors came by to wish Dorothy welcome to the neighborhood. She really found a connection with Siobhan Fyres and Brant Hecking. They were telling stories around the bonfire, grilling marshmallows and veggie hotdogs. Dorothy really felt like one of the guys, and had a really good time. She had felt a bit lonely being so far from home, but now she finally god some socializing and maybe a couple of friends?

Dorothy has been working really hard to earn some money. She’s become quite a pro at fishing, and she found an easel standing all alone up on a hill, so she finally got to paint some pictures again. Art and English was her favorite subjects at school when she was young. Since her aunt didn’t have much money to spare, they counldn’t afford an easel or a computer at home, so she loved being able to use those things at school.

The camp sight is starting to become a real cozy place to live. The garden is thriving and even though Dorothy was a bit sceptical about living in a tent for an amount of time, she’s actually enjoying it quite a bit.

Welcome to the Waterfall Nook

Hey, so welcome to this beautiful place Dorothy just moved in to. This gorgeous lot is called The Waterfall Nook, which is very fitting since it’s a tiny nook next to a water with the tiniest waterfall. 

Dorothy is so happy! Even though she doesn’t have much at this moment, she feels so content in just laying in gras, listening to the water running down the stream, thinking about how she’s gonna make a living when she doesn’t have a job. What can she do to make money?

After some time laying there, she looks to the side. What’s that thing she sees in the gras over there at the waterside? She gets up and walk over. Oh, it’s a fishing sign! That must mean that there’s fish in this water. She can fish and sell what she catches in the water. Hopefully there’s more than just goppys here. But first things first, she needs a fishing rod. She goes into Simslist online, and there’s someone giving away a fishing rod. On the way to get it, she pass several bushes with berries on the way. Perfect! Both a snack and another way to get a bit of cash in. If she plants the berries at home and make a garden, she can grow berries, fruit and vegetables and sell at the farmers market. What a great start in her new life, hopefully it will continue this way..

Introducing..

This is Dorothy, and she’s a quirky and beautiful history buff. Dorothy loves books and everything old. She belives that everything has a story, and that every story is something beautiful in itself. That’s why she has set herself the goal of writing down the stories she finds and publish them so the rest of the world can take part in it too. 

Her parents were a bit older then most when they got her, so they unfortunatly pased away while she was just a teen. She lived with her aunt until she became 18 and could get a place of her own. Her aunt didn’t have much, so they were always saving and always trying not to spend any money, so they could afford the bills and didn’t become homless.

Now Dorothy has now become a young adult and found a beautiful little lot in Windenburg. She used all her savings on buying the lot and a big tent. Luckily for her she got a moving out gift from her aunt; a cooler! She really needed that. Now she just have to figure out some ways to get some cash so she can start saving. She has the perfect house all planned out in her mind, now we’re just missing the money to get it done.

But I wanted a place to be able to post more than that. To tell more of the story. I’ve just started playing a new household, and I’ll be posting about their journey together here. In between there might be other posts or other short or long stories.
