Here is the cc free dorm I was working on a little while ago. I really like how it turned out.

There is a residential version included in the download you can install both. There is a blocked entrance on one of the dorm rooms but it is easily fixed with moveobjects cheat.

Fiesta Cubes - Dorm - 16 Rooms

Hello all. I've made this lot a long time ago for the university round. It has 16 rooms and on a big lot. It is a bit laggy to play in but I really like the architecture in this one.

This is not a cc free lot. I strongly recommend using  Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer to install this lot and for all your other lot and sim installs in Sims 2.

10 Gothier Street

Here is a quick little loft I made for downtown

Has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Costs a little over 30k. Unfurnished because I made this for a family that has 35k and gonna furnish with a few basic things so they can afford it.

Downtown Lofts

I made these a few days ago on a whim for a townie in my Uberhood play. They are not anything special but they are roomy and perfect for sims who earn well but don't have enough money to buy a house.

Cormorant - Residential - 40x30

Hello everyone,

If you follow me @oasislandingresident you've most likely have seen me share my WIP as I built this beast and it's finally in a place where I'm happy to share. Other than the kitchen, it is not furnished.

It has a open plan in the first floor which has the kitchen, living room, hobby/office room. There are 4 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and another open plan on 3rd. If you go down to the basement you'll have the garage and access to the garden. I plan on starting an actual garden there and maybe adding a hot tub on behind the rocks as I secure it with a green hedge.

Anyways, no cc. You need Island Paradise and Late Night for it to look exactly like this. SPs only add a few objects.

It goes on the hill lot which is called Cormorant. I demolished the house that was there and built this.

Today I have assorted lots for Sims 3. These two are finished enough for playing but not good enough for a special post. I want to do more to make them look better but I don't have motivation to work on them so I'll likely won't.

1 - Devil's Garage - Residential

This is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom house, made for my legacy play. It is inspired by Matt Murdock's Apartment. It has one store coffee table and uses items from assorted EPs. You can check what you need from the exchange link.

2 - Devil's Dive - Dive Bar

This is a simple dive bar made for Sunset Valley (on the right). There is another bar I shared for SV but I changed that to be a local watering hole. It seemed to be more fitting as that was designed to be in front of the beach while this can fit on that road up to the criminal hq, which is where I like my dive bars.

It's not perfect but I like the inside. You can see on the exchange that I forgot to remove the roof but this is the reason why it is getting shared with others.

4 Cover Up Road

Hello everyone,

Those who follow @oasislandingresident will have seen me share as I worked on this lot for the last couple of days. And here it is.

I always liked keeping the Curious boys in one place. Their weird house and it's architecture, is a favourite of mine. When you play them for a while however, the house can end up getting very crowded and someone need to move out. I always hated separating them and one way or another I always made a house for the ones that moved out on that hill.

Because of my love for building in elevation, I decided to make something I can use in my next start of Strangetown. I tried to capture the weird architecture of their house and use the terrain as best I can. I wish there were more tools we can use to build on highly elevated terrains like this but I'll take what I can get.

I made some fiddling in lot adjuster to make it fit right across the curious house. (Fiddling being, I placed a 2x2 lot and expanded it to be a 3x3) When you place it you will have to place it one tile right of the Curious house. Don't worry it works fine, without a problem.

Apartment Base Version

In Sims 2 apartments, there are certain things you can't use like split level stairs, stairs landing on different elevations etc. Because of this, I removed the stairs between terraces and apartment entrances are to the left of the lot when looked from the road.

For reasons known only to the Sims 2 Apartment gods, there is another problem with the apartment version. When you place the lot and enter without a family, everything will look fine. But when you enter with a family, it might end up looking like this:

When this happens, don't worry, there is a solution. Other wise I wouldn't have shared it. You enter the lot with a family, BUT leave the lot WITHOUT SAVING. Then pick up the lot and place again then re-enter to see if the issue is resolved.

If that doesn't work, pick up the lot, place it somewhere else on the 'hood (somewhere where you won't mind the hood terrain mingling) then pick it up and place it in the same place as before. When you enter the lot next time, it should be fixed and look as it's intended.

For this reason, I suggest using the residential version but I am sharing the apartment base version for those of you that don't mind a little fiddling.

I downloaded your multi pollination technicians set for sims 2 (love them). I noticed the files in the zip are separated; am I able to add only 1 of the PTs? Or do I need to add all 4 for it to work properly? Thanks!

I'm glad you like them! ♥

You need to put all 4 for the mod to work properly. The character information for the PTs are referenced inside the mod file.

I'm not the creator of the original mod, and not knowledgeable enough, to predict what would happen if you leave out one of the character files.

Deconstructed Cube - 30x30 - Residential

Hello everyone,

I have been playing Sims 3 a lot when I have the time and playing a little casual legacy there. This is a house I made for my next generation heir: Elodie, for when she becomes a young adult and needs a bachelor pad.

I built it on the 477 Sunnyside Blvd, the empty 30x30 lot by the Sunset Valley beach. It's got 1 bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms.

Sunset Beach Bar - 20x30 - Dive Bar

Hello everyone, it’s been a while and I’m back with a surprising Sims 3 build. This is a bar I built for my Sims 3 legacy and it was pointed out to me by @echoweaver that people might enjoy XP stuff made for Sunset Valley so I decided to share it. 

For some reason, I rarely share stuff I make for Sims 3, too busy playing the game I guess.

Yuxi’s Open Robe with Rented Space’s Underwear

Hello everyone,

This is yet another recolour I did. I found Yuxi’s open robes but wanted solid coloured underwear with them so I slapped @rented-space​’s male sleep shorts onto them. I only made the red and purple shorts a little bit darker. Each robe comes with 4 different short colours. Swatch is under the cut.

Mesh is included. 

Adult only. 

Underwear and PJs.

It has sexy feet, which I realized later. (If anyone has a block feet conversion of these robes please @ me ‘cause I prefer those.)

A Multi PT Pack

Hey everyone, 

I looked through the defaults for Multi PTs and I couldn’t find the kind of a replacement I wanted in my game. So I made one. I tested it in game and it seem to be working fine. Let me know if there is something wrong. 

Here are the reasons why I made this pack:

I wanted to have an all male pack because I feel that’s more lore appropriate.

I preferred them to all have different hair colours to increase the chance of different hairs in their offsprings. 

I made them with the elven and alien templates and modified the too extreme features because they are truly hard to get rid of. I was gonna leave the huge eyes but they look pretty bad when it’s not alien eyes.

I use the default alien skin tone replacement made by @lilith-sims here, which is what the Green Boi is using. 

The rest of them are using, again made by Lilith-sims, Colourful Feathers set’s Teal, Lavender and Mint skin tones. You need the set for these guys to work properly. 

I use Phobia’s alien eye default and that is the eye you see on the pictures. You don’t need it for them to work but here is the link in case if you like to get them.

Grandrapits

Hello everyone,

This is the last of my build a hood master posts. The city that started it all: Grandrapits! 

You’ve seen me share these lots one by one for the past 2 years and I finally decided on the district names so I can share the map with you! I built this neighbourhood to play with the sims I created. I guess it’s also called build a hood challenge, or something similar. I’m not up to the lingo but I wasn’t really building or playing it as a challenge. This all started when I found myself bored with the premade hoods and when I found the pooklet method of creating new sims. 

Anyway, enough history lesson. I’m sharing this hood and the district names with where every lot is placed in case if you also want to create your own hoods but don’t want to create buildings for them. I used the similarly named, because I’m so creative with naming, Grandrapits map from Modthesims made by Suhina-Lempi.

Here are the names of the districts. Each district has a distinct architectural style. New Beginnings and Downtown uses the “industrial loft turned residential space”, Silverpine is “suburbia with somewhat modern houses” and New Haven is going to be ”tropical”. 

I, of course, have plans for more lots. I’m only on second generation so there are no distinctly rich households yet. I’m planning on creating rich household district in Goldenhills, beach tropical ones in Butterfly Cove and small, cheap apartments in Downtown. (I’m also thinking of making a one big apartment lot with apartments for 3 people each -like starting the founders with roommates- and 4 or 5 apartments in total for a mega starter apartment on that empty square in New Beginnings but we’ll see.)

New Beginnings is where my sims have started their journey, all of the founders have now moved to Silverpine and the first kids are almost off to university. Which made me get side tracked and start building a university hood for them called Evergreen Institute of Technology. Some of you may have come across its master post. At the time I’m typing this post my game is giving me a lot of grief like missing nightlife clothes and random crashing which kind of made me lose my enthusiasm for building more. I had to completely reinstall the game and decided to rebuild my downloads folder which is taking a lot of time. But I digress, let’s take a closer look at the lots and districts:
