the girls started high school, & Averie met Demario. in true toxic fashion, he snuck her into his apartment, let her see how close & sweet he is with his family, then showed up late to prom. he's already convinced her to graduate early, so she could run away with him to Britechester. her birthday is coming up, & since his scholarships haven't come in yet, it looks like she'll have her work cut out for her when she moves in.

the girls are officially teens, & Greta is to a point in life where she can focus on hobbies. i must admit, i'm excited to be able to socialise a little bit now. gen 2 is coming up so fast.

summer was great... for Averie & Laila at least.

both girls aged up! greta took them both to granite falls for a weekend to enjoy some real power & even made them a cake. of course, immediately, Laila lost a fang. she & Averie spent some quality time together playing, hiking, & doing homework before they had to head home.

time keeps flying in this legacy. Averie & her little sister Laila have already aged up to toddlers! their birthdays are only a day apart, which is pretty convenient. i currently plan for Averie to be the heir for generation two, but i am very fond of Laila... she's also the werewolf sibling.

this gen is going so fast. greta is on level 2 of her aspiration, over halfway to maxing gardening, & starting on herbalism. she's making oddly good money selling the surplus of her harvests, & crafted items every now & then. while out in granite falls, she met lou. i wasn't stoked about him being a werewolf, since i generally find them annoying. but he was the only sim in the world she was attracted to during her vacation period (girl, same). her first child, averie, was born soon after arriving home. i didn't anticipate a baby this early on... & now with averie's birthday approaching, greta found out she's pregnant again.

the zip folder contains individual files for my original table & the maxis match* version, as well a bundle file. only put one file in your mods folder. if you want both versions, you must use the bundle file!

Ever week I attempt to recreate faces from my “face catalog” to keep my “skills” fresh and to learn new techniques. Quite a lot of my reference images are from 1800’s era photos of Native Americans I find in museum archives and First Nation people-ran sites. This week, I chose “Chief Duck, Blackfoot Nation”: 

well, I tried. This is my first stab at using elders in sims 3; the lack of realistic wrinkle skin/makeup CC shows :x I even added noise to the image to make it seem more 1800-y :(

anywho, after that headdress was released I didn’t plan to use it, but I at least wanted to see an image of the type of person who could be wearing one in the plethora of white hipster chicks I keep seeing on my dash since it was released.
