Welcome to Tessa Andrews, she is a young aspiring teacher. After her dad lost his job, her family had to downsize their house, so Tessa decided to take what she had, get a starter loan and move to the the big city to live her dreams and find her soulmate.

Tessa has a twin sister who is happily married and has just had a baby boy called lewis who Tess is very close with so we will be visiting them a lot.

moving to the city caused her to lose touch with all her high school friends, which she is finding hard as she was the popular kid in school, so now being a nobody is scary.
