Kalani: I know, and I’m so thankful but it hurts so much knowing that the people who you love the most don’t care about you.

Josiah: It might seem like that but they’re still your parents, they love you.

Josiah: What do you mean by that?

Kalani: My family owns this company in San Myshuno and ever since I can remember, my life has been planned out for me. I was going to grow up and continue the family business, you know, make my parents proud, but as I grew up I realized that’s not what I wanted to do with my life. My parents didn’t really like my decisions so they asked me to leave , well, they kicked me out. They didn’t care that I had nowhere to go, then again the only thing they really care about is money. I felt so confident when I first moved here but now I just feel so lost. I feel like I might have made a huge mistake.

Kalani: Oh, Josiah, hey! I didn’t hear you. Uh, I couldn’t sleep, just a lot on my mind right now, a late night walk always seems to help though. I could ask you the same question.

Kalani: It’s nothing , really .

Josiah: Kalani, it’s pretty clear that it isn’t just nothing. You can tell me .

Kalani: Oh, you know...just my whole family is falling apart.
