During my Twitch Stream I figured out that we can place spiders all around the house, first I was hesitant of the creepy crawlers... But, we ended up decorating the whole house with them.  Until I spotted this little one in the corner I was totally fine, gotta admit it scared me only a little bit? shh..

Oh by the way! Love this house? It was made for Tazkabaz’s Halloween shell challenge, which reminds me I need to upload it to the gallery...

Dear Diary, 

I loved this day, after the festival was over in the early hours of the morning, I spend some time at the local market. I bought the freshest of produce and enjoyed the last of the starry night sky. The woman in the booth, Tara, was super nice and helped me pick the funkiest looking fruits and vegetables. It was an exhausting but thrilling experience. Until next time!

Welcome to another one of my adventures! Today I went to this crazy festival in the Arts Quarter of San Myshuno, it was lots and lots of fun though. On my way there I had to stop at this awesome little green garden in the middle of the city. Gosh, I love exploring the neighborhood. I will share more of my adventures of this day in a bit.

Bakery & Spooky Store

At the request of an Anon, here’s a CC-free version of my old bakery and spooky store (that I never uploaded because it had way too much CC ;). I wanted to get it done well before Halloween, but I was short on time, so it’s a bit close to the holiday. I hope some of you will be able to make use of it anyway, or maybe save it for next year (or whenever your Sims celebrate Spooky Day).

The bakery side is a cafe/gift shop, with spooky/autumn decorations, a fountain where your Sims can grab a caramel apple (although a Sim with Cooking Skill of 8 must fill the fountain with caramel first), coffee & tea machines, and a little seating area. There’s a kitchen for the baker as well as a garden out back so they can grow/use fresh ingredients. I’ve also added a one bedroom apartment on the floor above the bakery for the owner to use while playing the lot. If you do decide to play this lot as an owner, you may want to lock the doors leading up to the apartment so that customers don’t wander up there.

On the Spooky Store side, your Sims can try on costumes, carve pumpkins, partake of the trick-or-treat bowl, and shop for spooky decorations. Just as an FYI, I only made a handful of things for sale in each store so that things wouldn’t get too laggy (and I wanted to avoid routing issues since some items are placed fairly close together). The second floor above the spooky side is empty - I wasn’t sure what to put up there, and I didn’t want to make the lot more cluttered than it already is. :p

Speaking of clutter, you may want to enable “bb.moveobjects” before placing the lot in build mode to make sure everything stays in place.

(If the lot looks a little familiar, it’s because it shares a basic footprint with my Brumfield’s Bakery & Books lot from Blythe Harbor.)

My name is Audrey, and this is my first ever diary entry. You may not know this yet but I have been lacking a certain kind of inspiration lately and wanted to try some new forms of art, oh yes so I am an artist! My work is usually inspired by my urban surroundings in San Myshuno. However, I have yet to find my muse. Today I traveled to the Arts Quarter to visit the Casbah Gallery. It was an amazing experience to just walk around my own new neighbourhood.

🌲 INSIDE THE CABIN 🌲

On the stream we decided to make the inside a mix of the ‘old’ and ‘new’. The cabin has beautiful stone walls, and a sense of warmness about it. The decor looks almost vintage, but is also mixed with today’s trendy accessories. We used a lot of yellow, brown and orange tones for this build and I couldn’t be more excited to have my sims actually live in it!

🌲 CABIN IN THE WOODS 🌲

I loved doing this build during my live Twitch stream last Sunday! It turned out to be such a cosy little cabin with lots of brown colors, the inside is a lot more vintage looking (which I love). It reminds me of when I was younger and I went to those cosy parks in nature where you can rent one of these fine cabins yourself. Good times!

Recreating a seventies look was not easy but damnnn, it turned out so well! I love playing around in create-a-sim to do themed outfits, this one was no exception! The high-waisted colored statement jeans, the sleek hair and the bold eye make-up makes this look a success!
