Niji is the son of two doctors (in both previous life and this one) and has a decent amount of medical knowledge becaue of it. They taught him how to take care of the injuries he got while skateboarding in case they wouldn’t be around to help. Sometimes they’d teach him about other things he was curious about too. And this is pretty much how his Vigilante career started in the previous life. He started taking care of injured people he met while waiting for the ambulance to arrive. This slowly evolved into him saving people who were being attacked and eventually just. Straight up doing everything he could to help others.

There’s no way there were proper support items around when quirks first manifested and the world absolutely needed time to adjust. Especially since like. Heroes also started as vigilantes and there was chaos and all that stuff. So what I’m saying is that Niji grew up enjoying both skateboarding and freerunning and used his protective gear for those hobbies to create his first hero outfit. Cue to him slowly developing it more and more as he got into more dangerous situations.
I also wanna say I imagine he became a vigilante before meeting OFA. He saw the chaos and was like ‘alright, I gotta do something--’

It doesn’t happen often that people who don’t go to the school are allowed to go past the gate. And yet, here he is, holding two boxes. One has food from his own café. The other is from a restaurant a friend works at. His friend was supposed to come along but, sadly, didn’t have the time anymore so he offered to bring both boxes by himself instead. Niji has no idea what all this is for, no info given when the request was made by a teacher. For as far as he’s aware, there’s no event coming up. Maybe it’s a little gift for the students? Or teachers?
Ah, but where is the room where he’s supposed to leave these, though? He has never been here before. Eyes scan the area and the man successfully spots a stranger.
