Tord brought Edd and Tom down to the machine and set it up "ok, so I think I have everything fixed. Tord moved around the machine to check a few parts were in place securely before he looked to Matt "well I've gotten the machine working again and I'm just about to change us back... hopefully" he mumbled that last word. I suppose I could watch, like I said, I'm not doing anything today and it'll be interesting to watch you all get turned back!" he smiled, obviously none of them had heard the 'hopefully' Tord had mumbled. In all honest, Tord didn't know if it would even work fullstop. Tord pressed a few more buttons on the machine then typed something into the machine before pressing one last button on the control panel. The lights went out in the whole house for a few seconds like the last time they used it... but something felt different. When the lights came back on, Tord and Edd were horrified to find it hadn't worked and they were still omegas. Tom was more surprised than horrified but he was also a little worried... Then they all saw Matt. Matt was laid on the floor where he was stood before, he looked smaller, more fragile, and his clothes were definitely baggy and loose on him, much more so than usual. He groaned as he sat up and rubbed his eyes "what happened?" he asked and he didn't sound too different but his voice was softer. Tord's eyes widened "oh no, nononono, the machine malfunctioned and these circuits are fried again!" he could see the circuit panel from on the floor and it looked completely broken, even sparking a little. There was a long silence before Tom spoke up "uhm, Tord, doesn't this mean that all of our bodily clocks are back to 0 again?" there was an even longer pause before Tord replied "Yes... And I think it amplified everything this time..." he said with a slight waver in his voice. "T-Tord, this is weird, what's happening?" Matt said as he sat up, looking at his hands, looking each of his slender fingers up and down. He felt wrong in a way, but at the same time not, this confused Matt and seemed to scare him a little. Tom looked at the three and bit his lip, his face coated in panic. "Alright, I dealt with two of you a short while go, I'm sure that I can take care of an extra one as well." he tried to reassure himself and the three omegas. He was currently trying to think about a quick plan as to what he was going to do with the three, and how Matt would react to having a heat much worse than he was used to. He was most concerned for Matt because although Edd and Tord had suffered from the side effects of being in heat, they had adjusted to it pretty quickly as Tom guided them. Matt however, despite already having a heat, didn't know what it was like for an omega, meaning that the shock of the intensity would be worse than for the two that were previously alphas. Tord let out a small huff and looked at the control panel "you alright Matt?" Edd asked, going over to Matt. Matt seemed to think for a moment before he nodded a little, looking up at Edd. "It feels strange..." he had a small whine in his voice as he answered. Tom came over too and Matt flinched a little bit, Tom feeling bad for Matt as he saw. Tom was used to Matt being a little jumpy at some things but never this jumpy. He sighed and gently pet Matt's hair "it's ok Matt, I'm sure Edd and Tord can help you a little bit with getting used to this, if it makes you feel any better I still feel strange being the alpha now" why Tom was feeling so sympathetic towards Matt now, he didn't think he'd ever know, he just left it at 'this must be how all alphas feel sometimes' in his head. Tord huffed as he turned away from the control panel "fried again, I'm thinking it will take around a week and a half to fix this time, even with some help." Matt seemed to panic a little, still being very confused, not to mention he felt very fragile and vulnerable. Tom felt a small twinge of annoyance at Tord's news but noticed Matt's hands shaking a little. He leaned down and tried his best to be gentle as he hugged the ginger omega, rubbing his back a little "take a few deep breaths Matt, i's gonna be alright. I'll help you with your heat like I helped Edd and Tord." Tom reassured. It took a few moments for Matt to process what had been said to him and he instinctively cuddled against Tom, feeling a little safer now, he didn't say anything and this seemed to worry Edd, who tried to comfort his freckled friend as best he could. Tom ended up in his room with the three omegas, one of which he had carried to his room. Matt was talking quietly now and listening to Edd and Tord as they tried to help him understand his current biology. Tom would chime in occasionally and add something to what they had said, making sure Matt understood everything he was being told. After a while Matt had been sufficiently educated on his biology and Tom was telling all three some of the side effects that came with having a heat cycle, and what to do to make it easier on them until Tom was able to help them. Once that educational session was completed Tom sighed and picked up Susan, sitting on his bed and letting the omegas talk as he played in the background, letting every note sink into his skin and be absorbed by every fibre of his body. It soothed him a little, he wanted to be calmer when he had to deal with the three omegas, making sure that he'd be able to think straight and not act out of blind panic. The three smaller males all seemed to enjoy the base, sighing a little bit as Matt loosened up a little the more Tom played. He seemed much more content and a lot less worried. The calm lasted about five hours, Tom eventually stopped playing his base and had felt tired enough for a quick nap, so he laid down and did exactly that, letting Edd, Matt and Tord cuddle up to him, yes, even Tord, he just felt smug about the fact it was Tord cuddling up to him now, and he could get him to do almost whatever he wanted. It honestly felt nice. It was around two hours after Tom fell asleep when he woke up to a similar scenario as a week or so ago, except with an extra addition. Tord seemed to have the smart idea of trying to pull Tom's pants and underwear off, however Tom had other plans and stopped him "Stop it" he growled and Tord whimpered a little, looking up at Tom with pleading eyes. Tom has to admit, it was amazing to see, but he wouldn't fall for it "I said no Tord" He pressed, making Tord sulk a little as he went back to cuddling to him. When Tom got confirmation from the three that they had entered into their heats, he told them all to finish undressing and wait for him. All three did as instructed and took off their boxers, waiting for Tom patiently as he undressed. Tom could now put his plan into action. He pulled the covers over them then cuddled the three close as he yawned and slowly drifted off to sleep, one part of him wanted the machine to be fixed but another part of him wanted to stay like this, stay as the alpha permenantly.
