I truly miss being here I wish I had motivation the way I used to

it's okay if you aren't writing right now. it's okay not to be online. it's okay to take breaks. this is a hobby, not a job, and you should spend your time however you want to, not how others may want you to. don't stress yourself over not being around enough; it doesn't matter if you take days, weeks, or even months — it's okay to do things the way it works best for you. and if that means taking longer to reply, then so be it. people are usually far more understanding than we give them credit for.

It’s been a mentally a long two months, I’ve been in a rut in every way and I’m thankful you guys have been so patient with me, I am going to newly medicated and I really hoping it gives me that spark of joy to write again because I miss my favorite hobby.

Kaoru was keeping an eye on Sormi, not wanting to hover and dull her fun, but just making sure she was okay just wanting her to enjoy herself for a change, it was nice to see her smiling and giggling with their friends. He followed her into the kitchen just wanting his eyes on her, and the way her whole face lit up when she saw him and he mirrored her smile back instantly coming closer to her just smiling so big and genuinely at her "Oh yeah? Do you have a secret for me truly? Are you sure you want to tell me when you're under the influence of alcohol? Or is it something that has to be said right now?"

it had been a while since sormi last felt comfortable being in a room full of people she knew. and it was even even more rare she was comfortable enough to be able to drink around the others, but this was different. she finally felt self and was able to let her guards down as she allowed herself to get tipsy. from playing games with everyone she felt like she was out of her shell for once giggling happily and enjoying the small party full of her and kaoru's friends. she found herself in the kitchen getting a snack and another drink when kaoru entered the room her face lighting up as she gestured for him to come closer. Needy knew she might be a bit Mundane to fully grasp the gravity of what happened here, but she didn't have the heart to leave her sweet Briar alone, she could tell the last thing Briar wanted to be was alone, and she knew she was never in any danger with her, she was always safe. She nodded softly looking into her eyes only ignoring the dead body in the alleyway just a few feet away "Okay…let me take you home." She took both her hands in her's guiding her away from the alley towards her car keeping her eyes on her, she nodded her head softly "I do know that you would never ever hurt me, I'm the safest possible with you." She softly stroked her skin just trying to offer her as much comfort as she could "You could always turn to me no matter what, I don't view you any differently, I'd rather you turn to me than deal with this on your own, I told you once I'm here for you through the good, the bad and the ugly you know that, I'm not going anywhere I'm here to stay. I don't know how to fully help when it comes to situations like this but just tell me what you need and I'll be there for you."

The fact that Needy chose to stay when Briar needed her the most made her aching heart skip a beat. Despite feeling like the monster she truly was, Needy made her feel like anything but. Besides, it was true — she probably wouldn’t have lost control if it hadn’t been for the fact she had been cornered and targeted by the man who was now lying dead in some alleyway. “I just… I want to go home.” Hiding from what she did probably wasn’t the wisest of choices, but it hadn’t been the first time she had killed someone and it wouldn’t be the last. It was part of her nature, whether she liked it or not. The important part was that she had been trying to change for the better despite what she was. “You know that I would never hurt you though, right?” She just needed further reassurance in this moment as she nuzzled her cheek against Needy’s hand. “I know that I can always turn to you in moments like these, but I never wanted you to see me like this. I don’t want you to view me any differently after this or pull you into my messes.” She explained, her teeth nervously sinking into her bottom lip.
