Does anyone else remember that gameplay conversation between the chocobros where they said something about needing glasses and I think it was Noctis who was like “Ignis doesn’t really need glasses” and Ignis said something along the lines of, “I just want to be able to see everything the world has to offer”

AND THEN THEY TOOK HIS EYESIGHT?!?!

It’s been 5 years since I played this game and I still can’t bear to play it again.

So I've played Dragon Age Inquisition MANY TIMES but I finally played DA2 and I have thoughts:

1. Fenris is RUDE AND NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY HE DOESNT LIKE ME

2. Varric is a KING AND I LOVE HIM

3. Merrill is naive but she means well

4. Aveline is my BEST FRIEND SO I WONT TOLERATE SLANDER

5. My sister is eh. She was sent to the circle and I'm glad that in the end she was cool with me

6. Meredith was CRAZY

7. I had higher hopes for Orsino

8. ANDERS IS A SON OF A BITCH. ROMANCING HIM HURTS AS MUCH AS IT DOES ROMANCING SOLAS AND IM ANGRY ABOUT IT.

9. Cullen is the BEST I WONT HEAR ANYTHING ELSE

that's all but wow I loved that game. While it isn't as open world as DAI the story was SO GOOD. I'll be playing again because I didn't get all the companions because I'm a novice BUT I'm gonna do this again and try to make Fenris like me more and get that pirate lady as an ally

Solas is such an interesting antagonist because everyone in your party foreshadows his betrayal even himself. He never truly lies to you, he leaves enough vagueness to his truths for you not to question. He genuinely thinks he's a hero in all this because in his perspective, he watched the world he created become an absolute shitstorm without him to guide the elvhen. What's absolutely the worst however is when you chose to romance him because through your actions and love he starts changing and almost abandons his plans entirely. You can actually pinpoint the moment in the breakup when he realizes he's betrayed himself, but there is not a doubt in his mind that he loves Lavellan and by the time of Trepasser, he stopped denying it outwardly because he misses and appreciated her support. Good motive still genocide.

I mean, if Lavellan, Mythal or the rest of the evanuris don't get to Solas first, Cassandra will definitely be the one to knock him out, using her shield on his head
