Jedi June 2025

A creative fandom event dedicated to appreciating the Jedi, taking place during the entire month of June! Each week will feature two prompts, around which people can create fanwork (of any kind – fic, art, cosplay, edits, anything you can think of) or meta focusing on the Jedi and the Jedi Order. All eras and continuities are welcome; OCs, established characters, doesn’t matter – it just needs to be about appreciating the Jedi!

Rules:

If you are participating, please tag your work/meta with #jedi june and/or @ this blog so that I will see it and reblog it here. All work must be your own. Feel free to crosspost it off-site.

This is an appreciation event, focusing on what we love and enjoy about the Jedi – not what we don’t. This is not the place to air your grievances with the Code, take potshots at the Council, prop certain Jedi/certain eras of Jedi up at the expense of others, or disparage the Jedi Order or their philosophy (including the concept of non-attachment) and way of life in any way. You are free to do that on your own time if that’s your thing, but it has no place within this event.

AUs and crossovers are allowed, with caveats: again, the purpose of this event is to appreciate the Jedi as Jedi, so sticking your favorite Jedi characters in something like a modern AU or making them all Sith or Mandalorian is not really within the spirit of this event. However, AUs such as making a non-Jedi character a Jedi, having a character survive their canon death, giving a character a different teacher or padawan, or killing Palpatine off-screen in an unspecified yet embarrassing and painful manner, would all be perfectly fine. Use your best judgement to determine whether an AU fits the spirit of the event or not.

On non-attachment: in a general sense, attachment refers to grasping, clinging, possessiveness, jealousy, and the "I can't live without you"/"I will burn down the galaxy before I risk losing you" attitude. See this post and this post for more information. A romance can certainly exist without these things, so you can certainly write Jedi in relationships for this event!

Please tag any spoilers up to two weeks after the relevant content has aired.

Following the prompts is encouraged, but not required. Any sort of pro-Jedi content is encouraged all year month long, and if tagged (and following the rules), will be reblogged.

Happy May the Fourth, everyone! I sadly don’t have anything finished to share, but I can give a preview of the next part of the AU I’m continuing. :D Sex-worker Anakin helping Ahsoka through The Wrong Jedi arc.

Consciousness was slow in returning to Ahsoka, at first. Her bed was soft, the blankets cozy, and it was tempting to burrow deeper and give sleep a tighter hold rather than shake it off. When was the last time she’d rested so well?

The answer brought with it her memory of the last few days and she bolted upright, gasping. Her surroundings were unfamiliar but not completely foreign; the memory of the odd Force user—Anakin—that she’d met the night before filtered back to her along with her get-away. She pressed her hands to her face and took a few deep breaths to try and steady herself before getting to her feet. Fortunately, Anakin wasn’t hard to find.

He stood in his small kitchen space, his back to her, shirtless and hair still damp from a shower. And it seemed like he was in the middle of a voice-only comm.

“—you know I’m not going to give that up for free, daddy.” His back stiffened then, and he abruptly closed the call, “That’s our time. Talk later.”

Ahsoka crossed her arms, raised a brow. “You just don’t like to use anyone’s actual name, do you?”

He turned to face her with an easy smile. “It’s less effort than remembering them all,” he shrugged off the observation, “Though sometimes it’s just so I can get a rise out of someone.” Anakin leaned against the counter, nodded toward the back of the apartment. “‘Fresher’s at the end of the hall, and I left some spare clothes for you there. Take as long as you want, I’ll get some food going.”

She’d be lying if she said a shower sounded anything but amazing; Ahsoka gave a quick thanks before making her way to the facilities. Since she had the time she took it, staying under the hot spray longer than she normally would have, letting it wash the remaining aches from her muscles. The clothing was dark-toned and comfortable, and not as far off from her size as she’d expected; once she’d finished dressing she returned to the kitchen, where a small table and two stools had materialized.

Anakin began talking as soon as she’d reached the table. “You were out this morning, didn’t even twitch when I went out shopping. Hope you’re feeling better.” He cast a look at her over his shoulder as he pulled the toast from his therma-slice, then did a double-take and grinned. “Hey, glad everything fit okay!”

“I was—” Her stomach growled loudly then, the scents filling the space making her suddenly aware of how hungry she was; Anakin did an admirable job of not laughing as he took a seat. “Surprised, too,” she finished, moving toward the counter, “I wouldn’t have expected anything of yours to fit.” Though, she supposed, there was nothing saying that it was.

“I wasn’t always this tall,” he mused, “and I never get rid of anything.” Starting to fill his plate with eggs and sausage, he told her, “We’ve got plenty of protein, and there’s still bread if you want toast. You already know I’ve got water, but there’s some meiloorun juice in that pitcher.” Then, as an afterthought, “Caf too, but I doubt you’d like it.”

Her hand already hovering near the handle of the juice pitcher, she switched to the pot of caf before filling the mug he’d left out for her. “That because you think I’m too young?”

“No,” he chuckled as she took a sip, obviously fighting the urge to spit it back out, “It’s because I know how strong I make it.”

Ahsoka swallowed with some effort, croaked, “You sure that’s for people, and not powering speeders?”

Military whump prompts

Hearing the whumpee’s screams over the radio as they’re captured, the rest of the team frozen in horror.

• Patch job in the middle of the battlefield, someone pressing down on a wound with their bare hands, whispering, “Stay with me, okay? Just stay.”

• Post-mission debrief, but the whumpee is barely holding it together, swaying on their feet as the adrenaline wears off.

• The whumpee refusing pain meds because they need to “stay sharp,” only to pass out mid-conversation.

• “I don’t leave people behind,” they growl, limping and bleeding but refusing to abandon the unconscious teammate over their shoulder.

• Waking up in a field hospital, disoriented and panicked, pulling out the IV before being restrained by a firm but gentle voice.

• “We’re not going to make it.” “Yes, we are.” Cue one of them doing something reckless to ensure the other gets out alive.

• Cold, soaked to the bone, huddled in a ruined building during a downpour, one of them feverish while the other desperately tries to keep them awake.

• Hiding an injury to avoid being benched, only for it to get worse at the worst possible moment.

• “You don’t understand—I can’t go back. I can’t be discharged.”

• A high-ranking officer demanding a mission debrief while the whumpee is barely conscious, words slurring, bleeding through their uniform.

• A medic struggling to save the whumpee in the back of a jolting vehicle, yelling for the driver to go faster.

• Post-rescue, sitting by the whumpee’s bedside, counting every beep of the heart monitor like a prayer.
