I get along with Sebastian's family very well, and I remember some known facts: Sebastian is elder Maru's stepbrother, Robin is in the second marriage, Demetrius is Sebastian's stepfather and never talks about him. This is clear.

But the game never mentioned Sebastian's father. Why? This is too important to keep quiet about. Most likely, he never knew his father. it looks like either someone's betrayal, or the father got scared of the responsibility for the child and left town. It gives a lot of insight into Sebastian's character and why he doesn't communicate with his family. Is there a chance that he started to distance himself from them during his teenage years after finding out his father's story? And after he was put in the damned basement.

Demetrius doesn't seem to be a very good stepfather (probably because his daughter turns out to be more gifted lol although sometimes it seems to me that he has kinda autism), which could have prompted Sebastian to leave the town to follow his father and move to the city.
