hi, i'm alive

Short version: for now, Sinners and Saints + The Numbers Game is still on hiatus; they will be back in January tho.

longer version: I decided to step away from Tumblr for a while as it was getting to me too often + I had a lot of things to balance in my life. My break from Tumblr is still on, I'll maybe sporadically come here but no promises.

Since the end of July I'm working full time, and on weekends I have school, hence why my break got very, very long. When I had the time, I had no energy or motivation to even log on or write more than some random, short stories or outlines of stories.

A family member of mine is battling cancer (for a second time), but it seems to be going well as of now.

And I, personally, am feeling better mentally. Life's stable finally, work is relatively stable, school is stable. There's some motivation, too.

I'm taking my time with the come-back though. I'm painting, my job provides mental health resources (which I'm happily using), and those silly, random short stories I mentioned before? I decided to give them a go. Writing for nothing more but fun is, well, fun.

I'm extremely thankful to have such a heartwarming and caring community and I thank everyone for all the messages, I truly appreciate every single one of them.

So, with the little life update, I gift to you this crumb, one of the silly, random, short stories which I decided to turn into a silly little game.

It's by no means a standard IF. It's a little horror story, for the spooky season. A little 'hi i'm not dead' from me.

So, I'm not fully back, but I'm getting there. Love you all, Lin <3

General Update

Hey y'all--

some of you could've noticed I'm way less active on all of my blogs + discord. It's for few reasons, but TL;DR is that I'll be taking a break for some time.

Few events in my life signigicantly cut down the free time I have every day, and I'll be honest to say both my physical and mental health has not been the best lately.

I've had a switch in my ADHD medication and my allergy meds and that caused a bit of a mess (nothing dangerous, but let's just say i'm running on 10% battery 24/7). So, I get to have a joy of running after different doctors to do check ups and figure out what to do. It just so happened two other members of my family had to go to the hospital in the same month so that's fun.

To add to that, my work's been a little hectic (cause apparently adult people need babysitters to make sure they do their own work) and I'm just sort of 'dealing' with going back to the closet for the time I am at work.

So, I'll be taking a bit of a break to recharge and hopefully come back with something special for y'all.

I just wanna say how much I appreciate you writing Slavic characters, not only Russians and Ukrainians (they're also amazing dgmw), but also the less used ethnicities in IF games like Croatian and Bulgarian, both in SaS and TNB. Thank you for making such amazing characters and phenomenal games!!

the music aspect is so cool in this if!! it rly brings out the atmosphere and gives me the shivers. like i don't get scared reading stuff. like ever but the music makes everything so creepy and more real, especially the bit in the prologue where MC finds the parents dead. hrrr.

If you are willing to help out in checking for bugs, spelling and grammar errors and overall continuity issues then please fill in the form here.

The beta testing will be done over Discord, so you will need to have an account in order to participate in the beta testing. Chosen testers will be contacted by me via Tumblr and sent a link to the Discord server.

Hello dear author! I got all nice and caught up on the demo, and absolutely loved the nightmare sequences for all the ROs. I really enjoy a good animal symbolism moment, but for some reason I thought that it was going to be limited to our resident animal shifters, so imagine my delight at seeing all the ROs have an animal! Now that I'm on the lookout, I'm picking up on all the other little animal references that you've scattered for the other ROs and I'm looking forward to seeing more :D

i'm personally a sucker for symbolisms and representations by using animals, cards, stars etc. so i'm very glad you (and others) enjoyed this little bit! <3

Nope, the nightmares itselves do not change--the scene after though does change depending on MC's relationship with Roan

Ok I just cannot get enough of the soundtrack at the start (prologue?) anyway, I just keep listening and listening to it. I love it so much ❤️ it really fits in the game
