Charlie had never seen someone so…strange before. At least not fully human looking other then herself and her mother. Her head tilted as she studied him, coming up curiously, “Um, excuse me.”

“Mrr?” Maven’s eyes fluttered open and he glanced at Charlie before sitting up, giving the princess a toothy grin. “Oh, hey there! Needed to get a cat nap in.” He chuckled to himself and scratched the back of his neck. “You’re the princess, yeah?”

“I said that’s a sweet bat.” Jess repeated, leaning on her own, a sharp-toothed grin on her face.

“Why, thank ya!” Pyxie smirked, eyes gleaming mischievously. “Ya gots a bat too, do ya? My name’s Pyxie. I don’ see too many gals like you ‘ere in Imp City very often. What’s y’ reason for visitin’? Business or pleasure?”

“Now, now, now, don’t be that way! I assure you, all my workers are treated equally!” Jasper exclaimed; he wasn’t exactly lying but he wasn’t telling the absolute truth, either. His workers were treated equally... but badly. Harshly. Not that the ringleader was going to admit that to a stranger!

Pyxie snarled, lifting up her blood-soaked bat. Just seconds before, another imp decided they wanted to assault her. So, she beat them into a bloody pulp. She hadn’t expected an audience for this sorta thing, her eyes widened a little upon noticing the bigger female standing off to the side. Oh damn, she was attractive! Pyxie flashed her a toothy grin, her bat vanishing into thin air.

“Heh, wasn’t expectin’ an audience. Y’ like what ya see, lovey?”

“...excusez-moi?” 

Upon hearing the other’s words, Chiffon paused and turned to face the other. Was he trying to get a rise out of her? Because it was working. She narrowed her eyes at Alastor and growled.

“Tu embrasses ta mère avec cette bouche?”

“I think we’d be GREAT business partners! Just think about my offer, will ya? I swear, y’ won’t regret workin’ with me.”

Maven, please, no one wants to work with you. 

But of course he wanted to work alongside the Radio Demon, he’d get some form of protection... at least, that’s what he thought, along with a more powerful title.

“Welcome to my shop, I do hope you find what you’re searching for.”

Hazel piped up calmly, gesturing around the small building. The shelves were stacked with remedies and medicines, as well as certain potions one wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else in Hell. When her good eye realized who had stepped inside, she smirked. Well, how about that! The Radio Demon, in her shop!

“There anything SPECIFIC you’re looking for, Mister Alastor?”

“You really love sneaking up on others, huh, boss?”

Hollie murmured out, spinning around to face the taller demon. She’d (almost) grown used to Alastor’s sudden appearances out of nowhere, he hasn’t startled her this time. She had a feeling he’d pop up to visit her or Noel. Her ears began to lower and she gave him a sheepish little grin. 

“So. What brings you here? Noel’s as sick as a do-- uh, he’s fallen ill, I’m afraid. If you wanna see him though, he’s lying down in the back room...”

She knew not to bring up dogs, seemed to be a rather touchy subject for Alastor. The reindeer demon tilted her head to the side, watching the other intently.

He was growing more comfortable, having his mask off with Alastor around. Jasper was always a little self conscious about the scar across his eye, probably always would be, but he felt less anxious around the Radio Demon. Currently, the fox was sprawled across his boyfriend’s lap, peering up at him with adoration in his pink eyes. 

“Have I mentioned that I’m completely enamored by you?”

Maven was currently sleeping right outside the Hazbin Hotel, not caring who spotted him. He didn’t care what others thought of him; he was crass and rude, brazen, and could be pretty disgusting at times. ...oh no, the cat demon was beginning to purr in his sleep. Just what the hell was he dreaming of?

“Whazzat?” Pyxie mumbled out, turning to face the other. She placed a hand along her hip, eyebrow raised curiously. “Speak up, lovely, couldn’t quite ‘ear ya.”

A cold chill ran down Pyxie’s spine as she wandered through the city, and she froze. Something just wasn’t right. In her hands appeared her trusty metallic bat, just in case she needed to defend herself. Not like she could do (much) damage though, considering she was just an imp and only stood at four feet and nine inches. Her black painted lips curved into a scowl, claws curling around her bat rather tightly. 

“Who th’ fuck’s there? Come out wherever ya are, y’ bastard.”
