I watched the new Predator movie, Killer of Killers. I have to say I though it was going to be a series and, in each chapter, one Predator, or the same, was traveling and fighting diferent people in different ages, but it was a movie. A movie with chapter.

I'm not going to write about what I liked or not or what I think about the movie in general, but I want to say somethings:

First, mama Bear: how I love powerfull buffed ladies. She protects, she attacks, she cuts you body in half.

Second, I loved how they used their OG language. I don't know ancient viking, but I understand a bit of japanese, enough to understand the brothers' relationship. Well, at least know I know how is the oldest and who is the smallest. Shouting "pendejo" being a latino character is always a must, it seems, and I love it.

Third, the pilot guy is a Force sensitive person: he feels the machines and know almost inmediatly how to use them. First Anakin, then Rey, now him. That, or he is a tecknomancer.

Last, this yautjia warlord looks different from the others: when they found a worthy human, they gave them gifts and even marked them as warriors, but this guy seems like a collector, like the guy from Guardians of the Galaxy, putting alive being in tubes.

I don’t think I’ve ever been more jealous of a fictional character than I am with all three protags of killer of killers because they each got to have their head held in the big beefy hand of a Yautja at some point

bucky is definitely the kinda guy to squint at his phone or at a piece of paper while reading it despite probably having pretty immaculate sight.

i also dont see him as the kinda guy to say 'doll' like most people write abt, he seems more like a hun, honey, baby, MAYBE babydoll but not all the time

I just found out one of my favorite AO3 authors of all time is a fucking neurosurgeon which was surprising initially just because I often forget AO3 writers are real people and not smut angels sent down from the heavens to make us feel alive, but in hindsight it makes perfect sense.

they are a fucking genius so. they just apply that genius to multiple fields.

WARLORD PREDATOR ANALYSIS POST

Going incredibly public about my love for this guy. Even beyond HOW HOT HE IS!!, he's a great insight into Yautja culture AND Badblood Villainy. More below the cut

BUT!!! SO SO SO COOL!!!

Wearing a YAUTJA SKULL for a mask?? It makes it look like he has six tusks in a few shots?? Also all of the spines, which are most likely Xenomorph in origin!??!

Not only does he get points for being badass, but he's also just really interesting. He taaaalks!! In Yautja language!! And it sounds so fantastic!!

A bit I love is how he seems to enjoy the final battle. He doesn't see the united efforts of our protagonists as particularly serious until they actually hurt him, which immediately motivates him to just overpower them both when he didn't before.

Not to mention the calm demeanor he has when he "loses". For what is most likely the leader of a clan of Badbloods, you'd expect him to have a massive tantrum when his precious prisoners/warriors get away..but nope.

He just walks up, watches them go, and then SICS A FLEET OF SHIPS ON THEM.

He isn't freaking out because he knows they can't escape. He's the damn Warlord.

Overall, 10/10. Love him. Also!! FIRST MAIN YAUTJA (who isn't a background clan member) TO SURVIVE THEIR FIRST FILM APPEARANCE!!!! LETS GOOO
