survivornatalie:
Natalie could feel the panic rising as she stared at the man. How could he be one of them? How could Sirius, the kind cook who had sometimes cooked special meals for her be one of them? But he was. He was a werewolf. A monster that killed her family and almost killed her. He even admitted to being a monster and she started to shake violently. A whimper fell past her lips as she stared at him with wide, scared eyes. “They died!” She gasped and stared at him. “They died…. they were m-murdered!” The tears started to flow, she couldn’t keep them in anymore.
Sirius carefully stepped closer. He decided not to touch her yet, but he took out a handkerchief with his initials on it and he offered it to her. “I’m sorry for what happened. Nobody should live that... It’s a horrible thing and the best who did that is... not worthy of living...” He said. “But I am not like those beasts...” He added, stepping closer. His hand gently caressing her shoulder as his thumb dried away her tears on her cheek. “I cooked for you, remember? I took care of you... And I would do it, even in the wolf form... in fact... Why don’t you meet me at full moon?I will show you that not all of us are beasts like that..”

Astrid turned only slightly, looking at him out of the corner of her eye before she shrugged. “What do you see?” she questioned, not wanting to cover his eyes or even touch him, not yet. She still needed to get comfortable with herself again.
Sirius looked at her for a long silent moment. He was not moving. He did not move a single muscle. “I see.. fear..” He said. “I can smell it from here.. And you know... It’s the same scent I feel on me.” He confessed. “I see... something underneath that surface that intrigues me like nothing else in the past years. And I am a curious wolf. I wanna see... And i’m offering a peak in return. Something I usually keep for myself. Wanna take a peak?”

survivornatalie:
Natalie couldn’t think straight. She couldn’t think of anything but the fear coursing through her body. Sirius was a wolf. He was one of them. He was dangerous. The thoughts ran through her mind, leaving her only growing more fearful of the man in front of her. “You… you’re one of them!” She gasped out, her heart pounding loud in her chest, which he could probably hear. “No… no…. you’re one of them! You’re a monster!” She could remember the growls in the middle of the night as clear as day. The screams of her family and herself echoed in her ears as tears sprung to her eyes.
Sirius took a step back, not knowing what to do. Obviously she had met his kind before and obviously... she met the worst kind of wolves. “I guess you can say I am a monster..” He said, with a severe tone, remembering his “dad” using the same term with him. He was a monster. “But... I... never hurt anybody...” He added. “And... I... I don’t know what happened to you... but I....” He didn’t know what to add. He simply stared at Natalie, breathing slowly, trying to understand her feelings rather than listening to his pride being hurt by that term. “I am sorry for whatever happened to you... But I didn’t do it....” He could only say.

“Yeah that’s me. Oh..” she giggled a little, smiling shyly. The fact that he was the house chef and liked her cooking was hugely flattering to Qhuinn. “I’m a nurse here too but..obviously I can’t stay out of the kitchen. I’ve loved to cook ever since I was a little girl. It calms me” she explained. Taking the offered cup of coffee as an invitation to stay, Qhuinn took it with a smile of thanks and seated herself not far from him. “I guess that’s a good point. And my great-grandmother taught me. She lived with us, I grew up on a plantation just outside of New Orleans.” Qhuinn sipped at the coffee, then smiled widely at his question. “You’d..really want to do that?”
“Old style southern girl right?” He asked. “Was your family like you?” He asked. He went to be direct, instead of walking around the subject. “I was the bastard of my family. My brothers were all normal... And I was... Well me...” He confessed with a sad smile. “A nurse?” He stared long at her, tilting his head to examine her. “You’re a nurse... Why? You have talent... I need a dessert chef, I am good but not that good..”

clara-woodhouse:
Clara pulled her sweater tighter around her body feeling a bit of a chill in the air. It had been the sort of day that would be tragic to stay indoors for. Apparently she was not the only with that idea. Pausing, Clara tried to see who was laying in the grass. The woman doubted there was any danger here, but she was curious as to who read in the dying light. She chuckled, walking towards him. “Merely trying to make out what you are reading.”
He noticed the beauty and he couldn’t keep back a smile, sitting up from his position and offering the book to her. “Shakespeare’s sonnets. They give me some peace. I like that he would always find a way to make his special person feel... special for real... But this will stay between me and you... I’m not known much to be a romantic guy...” He chuckled, taking his thermos. “Join me for a coffee?”

survivornatalie:
Natalie had spotted the chef when she was taking a walk and started to approach him. He was reading a book, so she approached slowly in case he decided that he wanted to be alone. “Hello Siri-” She cut off as he spoke and it felt like an icy cold wave had washed all over her. Full moon? That could… that could only mean one thing. “N-no…!” She gasped, staggering back, her heart beating in fear. “No! No! You can’t! You can’t be one of them!”
Sirius frowned upon her reaction and he stood up slowly, feeling her heart beating nervously in her chest. “I am a wolf...” He confessed. “Is that a problem?” He asked, already having the answer from the way she was looking at him. He raised his hands slowly in a sign of surrendering and watched her. “I’m not gonna hurt you.... I never hurt anybody.... I’m a city wolf... I know how to control myself...”

nursexqhuinn:
This was Qhuinn’s favorite time of day. It always had been, even when she had been a human and her eyes had to struggle to adjust to that fine line between light and dark. Now..she could just step outside and it was as if there had been no change from whatever room she had come from. Sometimes, if the moon were bright enough, she could even read out by the bayou. That was where she was headed right now, when the scent of another wolf caught her attention. The other wolf, the chef who’s kitchen she messed around in whenever she could. “Hi..Sirius right? We met, in the kitchen before” she reminded him, though didn’t sit right away, unsure of her welcome.
“You’re the baker...” He said, seeing her, recognizing her scent as he smiled wide. “Funny... they consider us beasts and yet we have the best taste.. I’ve stolen one of your cupcakes the other day... I was curious...” He confessed, pouring a cup of coffee for her and offering it to the wolf with a gentle smile. “I had too.. we share a kitchen... You’re very good.. Where did you learn?” He asked. He had a dessert chef back in New York, but his desserts were not nearly as good as hers. “Would you be interested in working together perhaps?”

Astrid tensed when she felt the touch of his lips on her cheeks, and then pulled away at the familiar name. “I don’t see anything when you cover my eyes.” she stood up and walked to the railing of the gazebo, looking out at the dark garden, the night blooming flowers lit up by fairy lights as she picked up one of the bottles of vodka. She took a large drink of it and looked out at the grounds, uncomfortable and anxious with him as he pushed her to open up.
Sirius did not move, thinking she needed to have some space. Instead, he did just like her: he took the other bottle and gulped down a couple of sips looking at her with a hint of a smile. “My bad..” He then said, with a low, yet gentle tone. “Are you curious to know what I see?” He asked still sitting, giving her, for once in his lifetime, a position of dominance. Just for a bit though. Just for now. “You can cover my eyes... I see with other senses at the moment..”

Day Off |Open|
it was quiet. The sun was going down and Sirius was enjoying a cup of the best coffee and a book. He was laying on the grass and he was thinking about lighting a cigarette, but there was something.. A feeling... He felt as if someone was looking at him... He turned his head, his eyes seeking for the source of that tickle on the back of his head. “Come on don’t be shy.. i don’t bite, outside the full moon of course.” He said. “I have even coffee to share, you caught me on a good day...” he sarcastically added, taking another sip of his espresso.

“There is always time for some fun. You don’t have to rush things around..” He said, watching her curiously. “What type of fun you think you’d lost, by the way?” He asked, tilting his head. “What type is your fun?”
“It seems I’ve stayed in my room too long. There are so many new faces around.” Muireann sat comfortably in her wheelchair nurses nearby to tended to her should she need it. “I’m sorry I missed all the excitement.”

Astrid tensed only for a moment when he moved behind her, his lips brushed her ear and she tilted her head only slightly, but didn’t move the rest of her body. When he covered her eyes she sighed and then shut her eyes under his hand. “I see a future here.” she admitted softly, though she had never said it aloud, she could see a future here on the property.
Sirius smiled softly as she spoke those words. He kept his hands on her eyes and murmured. “Go on.... What future you see here?” He asked, as he placed a light kiss on her cheek. He didn’t want to push her, but he had to admit.. he was seeing something sparkling too. Something quite unique. It was..... weird in a way, but he liked that. “Here where, darling?” He asked more.

Astrid watched his hand move and brush her cheek but she kept her eyes on his. “I see you.” she replied. “I see what you see. I see the way people act, the way they over think everything, the way they search for deeper meaning in small actions. I see the way women crave attention and the way they try to get it.” she said as she took another drag of his cigarette. “And I see the way men do the same thing. Making a fool of themselves to try and get it.” she scowled. “And how they cling to things that are meaningless to others.”
“Bullshit.” He said softly. “I see someone who doesn’t want to admit she’s looking deeper. You are talking about.. surfaces. But you’re not shallow or superficial...” He placed his cig between his lips and walked around her, his voice so low, reaching her ear only. His lips lightly kissing her lobe as he spoke. “Close your eyes.” And since he didn’t trust her enough, he placed his hand on her eyes.”What do you see now?”

“I know, but I’m so strange, I’m two people who made one person and it’s just wrong.” she sighed.
Sirius frowned even more and he tilted his head, before he dared to lightly let his arm around her shoulders and gently patted on it like an older brother would do. “That’s silly. I turn into a wolf once a month and you don’t think that’s wrong?” He asked. “But wrong and right are just words. You wanna know what really matters? You are unique. Look around you. Some people are actually photocopy of others. You.. You are like a diamond.”

“Everything,” she said as she looked at him, her eyes locked on his. Her hand went to steal the cigarette back from him and she inhaled slowly before slowly exhaling, knowing he liked watching her smoke. She had seen it. “What do you want me to see?” she asked, cocking her head slightly but keeping her eyes on his.
“If I wanted you to not see, I would have stayed in that room... But I am here..” His eyes so serious, so severe and intense, but never threatening. “I know you see more than what you let out.. You are quiet.. but you don’t lose a single move. I don’t have to tell you what you shall see.. You.. already see it..” His hand moved slowly and caressed her cheek. “But so do I. We are alike in that.. We keep quiet... but our eyes move fast over the world around us.. So answer... What do you see..”

“Why would you wanna be normal? What’s so... charming about being normal, like everybody else?” He asked. “You are a real person. You’re here. You’re talking, you’re feeling. You shouldn’t worry about being like everybody else..”
“Do you think I’ll ever be normal? Like a real person?”
