I’m enjoying this journey by each second of every minute. I’m relearning the power of now. We all have insecurities and imperfections, but if God makes no mistakes, maybe those are just overlooked lessons. Every experience is a lesson, what are you learning? Wrote my first rap in the second grade about MLK Jr. In retrospect, that was the inception of a lifelong dance with music. This pursuit was praised and heavily supported by my Momma. Without her support and putting up with my loud ass instruments, i don’t know if this journey would look the same. I’ve tried to choose other paths, albeit briefly; source would always pull me into where i needed to flow. Admittedly, I’m a Renaissance man and like the pressure of multiple endeavors, music is home. What is meant for you will always be for you but it won’t just come to you. We all have a why, a calling, a mission. We were all born wit innate gifts and abilities. The key is finding what your heart and soul lives for. What are you willing to lose sleep over? What are you willing to do for free even if no one is listening? Find your why and never stop pursuing it. God already knows your path, often, we just need to concede to our calling.
