In Russian we don’t say “you’re too full of yourself, doing this unpleasant thing won’t hurt your dignity”, we say “корона с головы не упадёт”, which translates to “your crown won’t fall off your head”, and I think that’s pretty neat

ok I know I’m annoying but I’m so excited!!! I broke both my top and bottom jaw in February and had my mouth wired shut after surgery so I haven’t eaten or talked in almost two months but TOMORROW it gets unwired!!!!! I can learn to talk and eat again!!!!!!
