Everyone always talking about how Nat says “LAWDIEEE” but we never speak about Shauna’s “Lott”.

Like I think about that shit at least once a day, it’s usually Shauna calling her Lott as well- and that just so normal for them?!?!

In both the teen and adult timeline, if i delude myself enough I can act like the kitchen scenes with those two are a happy lesbian couple with their teen daughter.

Special mention to that one time in season one in the seance scene when Shauna calls Lottie ‘sweetie’, literally have never been able to get over that.

But that scene in s1 where Shauna turns around after she hears a rustle behind her, and finds Lottie crouched over with her pills is very dear to me, because she kept that a secret for AGES, no matter how bad Lottie got, she never used that against her.

It feels very connected to that line in s3 ep1 when Lottie’s taking to Travis about Shauna and quotes Shauna by saying ‘just because you need a shrink, doesn’t make you a shrink’ very, VERY well could just be Shauna calling her crazy, but I like to hc that those two things are connected.

I could talk about these two all day, wtf?!?!

Museums/ historical sites Italy: particularly Venice (which ive only been to once but it is truly my fav place ive visited) and Tuscany (specifically one town which my family have been back to around 5 time which is not something we normally do)  Art galleries as I was (and still am) dragged around them by my parents on holiday  but I love them tho

What’s one historical event that you would have liked to have witnessed?  This was truly so so hard But I think I would have to choose Julius Caesars assassination to be basic (and I love drama)

okay but why aren't we talking more about tai and lottie?!? you know these two mentally ill teenagers of color who found purpose for themselves whilst in the middle of a tragedy?!? who after they were rescued never actually coped with what they went through, and instead busied themselves in building somethin else?!?? in trying to feel normal??! trying to fill the void!??! who continue, after TWO DECADES, to not only carry the wilderness with them, but they actively try to cherish it, and (dare i say succesfully) push it onto the others?!?

i love the idea that we may never find out whether the shit that happened in the wilderness was paranormal or not. in some weird way i think the show's already answered it. when mari's in the caves with coach ben, she says that there's two different versions of reality - and im 99.9% convinced that's what's happening here. maybe the wilderness is a real entity. maybe they were just starving and insane. maybe it's both. but in the end does it really matter? they killed people. they savaged for food. they betrayed each other and fell in love and found and lost themselves all at once.

it's like adult lottie said: "is there a difference?" who even cares if it's supernatural? the damage is done.
