Okay but imagine an au where Nya and Kai always have been their elements

Like do to some magic or destiny type bullshit they were able to personify themselves as living being and every few centuries had to go back to their original form to re-gain enough energy to personify themselves again. I Imagine that their cycles for this are quite synchronized so either one would go before the other by like a year (or so) or they would go around the same time (like a week or two)

So imagine Kai confusion when everyone is mourning Nya even tho he knows damn well that she’s alive- just in a different form

Just picture: the ninja at the beach, jay having been sitting there for hours and the rest just joining him

Jay: FSM I miss her so much I just don’t know what I’m supposed to do now that she’s gone

Lloyd: yeah I know what you mean she was like a sister to us all

Cole: she was Kai’s sister

Zane: while we were all close to nya, Jay and Kai definitely knew her the best I can’t imagine the pain you both are going through

Kai: oh no I’m chilling you guys keep at what your doing tho

Everyone: Kai wtf

Kai with the outmost confusion: you know she’s alive right? She just needs a few weeks to regain energy and she’ll be right back up on her feet

Kai: which by the way (turns to the ocean) CAN YOU TAKE ANY FUCKING LONGER? dang bitch we’ve been through worst and your telling me some snake took that much energy from you?

The waves start splashing harder against the beach

Also just imagine Kai realizing that his next so one of the ninja just walk in on him writing his will

Kai: look I have way to much shit and I don’t want any of it to fall on the wrong hands

Like imagine they can communicate/hear each other through their element so you just see from time to time Nya full on yelling at a torch and Kai flinching or Kai grabbing a cup of water and full on roasting the shit out of it and you see Nya with the most offended look

I just love the idea of Nya and Kai being confused cause they think all the ninja are also like them just to find that no they are in fact that only one who’ve been alive as long as there elements have existed

no one really views my profile anymore so im considering creating a whole new one and starting from the beginning, and only updating this one when i have ff related content or a fic to post

i dont think anyone will reply to or see this? so this is just in case anyone does eventually come searching through my profile or something

toh has changed my life in so so many ways - we only have an episode left and i really don't know what i'm going to do,, but toh has helped me through some tough times and has made me realise so many things about myself (that i thought i knew, and didn't know).

it will break me to see it go but i'm genuinely so grateful and so thankful for what it's done for me and so many more people

so thank you, dana terrace and team of the owl house, for helping young queer kids like me realise they shouldn't be ashamed about their sexuality, and for teaching people so many different things about life. i'm so so so grateful for everything and i hope all of you go on to live your best lives.

hello and here are my thoughts on traitor!hagakure, even though no one asked

hagakure could have a multitude of reasons for being the traitor and frankly right now? im choosing to believe that the main reason is because she's being blackmailed

1. we don't have enough info on her to assume otherwise

2. she seems so cheerful and genuinely happy to be around 1-A, i don't think she'd willingly be a traitor

but im not saying she wouldnt make a good traitor, she probably would if she really had to, but if she betrays the lov in the end bc she didnt want to or is really committed to her role, i think shed probably be one of the best options for traitor

here are some reasons i can think of off the top of my head:

- shes being blackmailed/threatened into being the traitor

- she is actually willingly a traitor because 1. family on other side? 2. nothing left to fight for 3. wants her quirk to be taken away by afo 4. wants a new quirk from afo

but addressing hgk slander;

i understand that some people don't like her and i get it, shes a side character shes not very relevant to the plotline of bnha - but if you hate her purely because "her quirk is useless" then idk what to say really

- people hate on shinsous bullies and then go right round and hate on hagakure for the exact same reason as shinsous bullies (hypocritical, ex. heavily hc-ed amongst fandom that shinsou was bullied in youth due to quirk)

- hagakures quirk is "useless" ; 1. invisibility has a lot of functions and it is actually good for being a hero, she can be stealthy and even more useful especially since she's figured out her light refraction trick. just because her quirk isnt combat oriented doesnt mean shes useless (again, hypocritical. many people as kids when asked choose to be invisible if possible, one of the most basic and simple quirks, but also a popular one amongst superheroes fans. simple and stealthy)

- "she couldnt have passed the entrance exam with invisibilty" okay then how did jirou pass? from what i can remember, she only figured out broadcasting her vibrations after being in ua for a bit, so how did she pass the exam when all her quirk helped her do was listen for robots? (hc-ed amongst fandom that robots had off switches to help people shut down robots, and both jirou and hagakure couldve idk lead the robots in circles and slam them against each other or into buildings. there were plently of buildings and lamposts u cant say otherwise)

- doubling back to hagakures quirk being noted as "useless", imo the person with the worst quirk is satou. sure he has strength enhancement but it relies entirely on his sugar intake. he'd have to carry sugar around with him constantly in order to activate his quirk, and even then it wears off after a short while (as can be seen from kiri + satou vs. cementoss in final practical exams) im not saying his quirk is completely useless, im just saying its not super efficient or reliable especially if he runs out of sugar. and unlike hagakure, he doesnt have the option of being super stealthy. (he's tall, buff and wears a bright yellow suit)

im not trying to slander hagakure or satou or jirou or anyone that ive mentioned, im trying to point out things that people ignore when faced with someone they dislike. (im guilty of that as well sometimes, which can probably be seen from this post itself)

but to people who say mineta > hagakure? stay 10 feet away from me please

i dont want to unpack how you think a sex offender is better than an invisible girl, but i can assume its because of the quirks, and quirks only. well buddy, please double back to what i said abt shinsous bullies

Different personalized flavors for each of her friends.

She makes them whenever someone is sad, angry, or needs cheering up.

It never fails to bring a smile to the recipient's face.

This is the story of Marinette's macarons; and the day she stopped making them.

Different personalized flavors for each of her friends, even Chloe.

Like Max had dark chocolate, Alya had orange, Adrien had passionfruit.

She makes them whenever someone is sad, angry, or needs cheering up.

It always makes them feel better.

They taste different from Tom and Sabine's macarons.

"A secret ingredient!" Marinette always replies with a mischievous grin and a wink.

"What is it?" Everyone asks.

Marinette wiggles her fingers. "Magic!" She says with a laugh.

It takes a while for them to realise when she stops making them.

Normally, Marinette would bring a big box with two of each personalised macaron before a big test, to cheer people up.

Today, she doesn't.

No one notices when she stops making them after Lila comes.

No one realises that they'd never asked Marinette what her own flavor was.

"Jealous."

"Liar."

"Adrien would never like someone like you."

"Bitch."

Marinette learns not to cry at school.

She learns how to run away from akumas within two weeks after Lila's arrival.

She learns how to barricade her room so she can break down properly within three weeks after Lila's arrival.

She learns how to wipe away tears and leave no trace of their existence within ten seconds a month after Lila's arrival.

She learns not to trust people as soon as Lila opens her mouth.

Unfortunately, she learns these the hard way.

When the class realises how much time passed since they've had one of her magic macarons, they protest.

Lila inquires what they are.

The class tell her.

The class scream at Marinette because Lila doesn't have her flavour.

No one except Marinette recalls that she hasn't made macarons since Lila's arrival.

It takes a while, but Marinette grows to trust Chloe.

She gifts the blonde girl with a new flavour, a change from her regular banana one.

Honey lemon.

A week after Chloe and Marinette's friendship, they meet Luka and Kagami.

It took a month for Marinette to trust them.

Now, the four were a group.

Unbreakable.

-

Marinette gifts them with blueberry and matcha flavors.

The two love them.

Even more so when Chloe tells them of the significance her macarons have.

When Hawkmoth was arrested, Chat demanded a personal macaron from Marinette, hovering outside her window like a gnat that wouldn't go away.

Marinette doesn't want to.

She learns to lock her windows and bar them from the inside.

Eventually, Marinette just stops leaving her window open.

Marinette, the new guardian, renounces Chat Noir, who turns out to be Adrien Agreste.

She wonders if she should feel surprised. Chat Noir had become increasingly useless as time went by. Just like Adrien.

The only reason she won the fight against Hawkmoth was because Chat had seen Emilie Agreste encased in her glass coffin, and assumed Hawkmoth was holding her captive.

They took down Hawkmoth within fifteen minutes.

When Lila gets outed for working with Hawkmoth, the class discover that she had been lying about everything else.

They wait for a bluenette baker to walk through the door, her happy and cheery self, sitting down next to Alya as per normal.

She enters.

She promptly sits at the back with Chloe.

She ignores everyone else the whole day.

Marinette never really forgives them.

Personally, Marinette doesn't understand the term redemption.

Sure, they can turn over a new leaf.

But what was stopping them from turning right back when another liar comes along?

After mutliple failed fundraisers and not raising enough money for a field trip, the class realise.

They realise how useless they are without Marinette.

They realise how much they depend on Marinette.

They realise how much they miss Marinette.

But she still never forgives them.

-

They are reminded of the macarons' existence when Marinette carries a box into class one day.

Admittedly smaller, but a box no less.

They eagerly wait for their macarons.

They never get any.

The next day, Ladybug makes a public announcement.

She's hanging up her title for good.

"Mari-hime?" Kagami asks one day.

Marinette hums from where she lies in Luka's lap.

"What's your flavor?"

Marinette props herself up and smiles at the Japanese girl.

"Chocolate chip red velvet." She replies.

Her Ladybug colors.

But they don't need to know that.

The secret ingredient? Many people will ask.

Only four people alive know what it is.

Luka, Kagami, Chloe and Tikki.

It isn't love, if that's what you're thinking.

aha a less than 1k word fic after disappearing for 8 months? more likely than you'd think. anyway heres a draft i wrote in september last year (2020) ;; i havent written any maribat fics since october and i might not ever again bc ive sort of fallencout of the fandom but i do have alot of uncleared and unfinished drafts so ill post those maybe?? anyway thanks for everything
